I guess it's close to 40 times now. She usually comes out after the shows to talk and sign stuff, so I think your odds are pretty good! =)

Actually, it's 8 shows, and a little bit of Feist smack in the middle. =) Kathleen and the band are really rocking the tour so far, so I'm positive that the San Diego show will be great! There are some new t-shirts now too, with mountain tops on them.

I do? Haha! Maybe I should listen less and make it possible for other listeners to get their percentages up. =)

You can now download Change The Sheets and Wapusk here! http://www.rounderartists.com/kathleenedwards/changethesheets/ The other songs are available for download at http://blog.haterhigh.com, which is well worth a visit anyway. =)

They're from the tour last summer, so all of them are live. The Empty Threat I'm listening to has Kathleen forgetting the lyrics (Norfolk). =)

Time to look again, my friend. I just finished scrobbling both of my iPods and Ke$ha has taken a leading role. So has Lady Gaga, to my pleasant surprise/partial chagrin. As seen by the Billy Ray slip-up, My iTunes may have come a long way from the 13 songs of 2005-2008 in terms of quantity, but I can't say anything about the quality. And yes, Tristan Prettyman always makes me think of you and Torrey Pines :)

Loretta is good. As you know. And Daniel is also a good tune. Working by a computer tends to help accumulate scrobbles, as does falling massively for particular artists, such as J.O.Y. That said, I do think I've had a fairly consistently similar amount of scrobbles on at least a year-by-year basis, with less in the summer months. I have just decided that Regina Spektor is awesome. You should get in on that.

I find it kind of impressive that you've even managed to find as much Merle Haggard music that you're listening to. You're an unpredictable cat, music-wise.

"Play Titty Toast Radio" is probably the best sentence I've ever seen on this site.

That is pretty badass. That man's coolness is hard to exceed. Finally got to 1000, it seems. Pretty cool, really. Also, this week I just totally got Loretta Lynn. Fist City is an awesome, awesome track. I'm with ya.

I'm from Seattle, so I definitely know what you mean when you say GP was underrated. Malik Sealy as well? I don't know about you, but I watched the movie 'Eddy' about 50 times. Thanks for the heads up.

That is a good cover. Kathleen's voice is perfect for that song. Also, appears I just accidentally managed to somehow transition from Wagner to Gary Payton. How about that.

Yeah, I just found this compilation of Norwegian folk music I bought some years back. It's good stuff. Things are going okay, pretty uneventful. Though I did quite enjoy voting for the first time. How are things going with you? P.S. While I'm at it, I would be remiss if I didn't pass this along to you: http://www.theonion.com/content/from_print/greg_oden_signs_on_for_six

Yo! I believe our relatively low compatibility may also be a function of me not seeing much Jazz, Classical, Classic Rock, or Hip-Hop in your Library. But i agree about the algorithm change you'd propose... taking neighboring artists into account when calculating compatability. So what's next for the righteous crusader? Which cause d'jour will be yours?

"Speaking of walls"...Nice job. I noticed your description of Kathleen Edwards on the mailman's wall there. I love how you managed to use at least 11 figurative ways to explain her appeal. Made me go back and get more Kathleen. By the way, she's playing London again in December (in a place delightfully called Bush Hall) and I do believe I will be in attendance this time around. My internet has been down a few days so nothing's been scrobbled for ages on my page. Somehow, *that* upsets most about this whole not-much-net thing.

Tiffany was just for you, but my heart is really tied to Matthew Wilder's "Break My Stride" (and his supreme mustache). I just found out about Sia & Rilo Kiley this summer (along with Citizen Cope and others), all of whom I'm thoroughly enjoying. What's so special about this Kathleen Edwards dame?

Cool. As for my play count being so high... too much listening to music while sleeping and at work.

Yes, you can just open the XML feeds. They'll be not the most readable format but verry processable. You used to be able to find descriptions on how to at www.audioscrobbler.com, but that was version 1 and that's still accessible, but you might have to search. Otherwise on this page somewhere you can sign your account up for free to the feeds. You have accept some t.o.s..

That's very cool of us, and the way it should be! Kathleen & Feist did a show called CBC Fuse in 2005, where they played each other's songs. I haven't seen it, but how awesome wouldn't that be? The European Tour was amazing, every show was better than the next. I really hope they'll come back soon, because all these shows just makes me crave for more.
