oooh oxford, nice! i was gonna apply to cambridge but my teachers just told me not to even consider it because they're so ridiculously tight about english applicants, even though i ended up with 3 A*s and an A they still wouldn't look at me... amazingly tight. i didn't even get an interview at UCL! oh well, it's over now haha. doolittle is BRILLIANT yes! definitely my favourite. surfer rose isn't far off though...

i'm going to uni of sheffield to do language and lit! it's definitely the best place around that doesn't only accept geniuses with 7 a levels, i got rejected by UCL, uni of leeds and all that despite being predicted A*A*A, hahaaaa. it's ridiculously competitive, haaate it. sheffield is totally where it's at ;) your love for the smiths and the pixies is brilliantttt, the pixies have been my life for the last few weeks, love them!

Ha cool, yeh I just stood in amazement. Bet it was great at the front :) Ah right yeh, stayed late then went about 4, pretty strange driving straight after a mental weekend, out onto empty roads. Probably had to be there, but it was pretty weird. Also a friend had passed out in the back seat. Haha were they alright?? Some guy was passed out on a path in orange for about 5 hours on friday, surprised he didn't get kicked or anything! Also, why isn't Tubelord in your events! You should definitely go! x

Ah bad times, being overly drunk is never good. I had like 54 cans of strongbow and a bottle of pear cider over the weekend so I had ridiculously chapped dry lips by the end! I suppose you're being very drunk would explain you wanting to go see The Libertines seeing as noone would want to see them sober, ohhhhhh ;) Are you not off to Tubelord and Tall Ships at Cockpit in a few weeks? x

Oh well... Arcade Fire were absolutely amazing, it was freezing, but so was Radiohead last year! They're the kind of band you can just stand and watch and be amazed! But yeah it was freezing. Highlight of the weekend? One of my friends got their tent + clothes put on a fire when we were at the alternative stage afterparty thing... :s x

You drunken hooligan! I did see Frank Turner but only a bit of his set, but what I saw I enjoyed :) and err, you bloody Libertines fans. ;) Foxy shazam were really good, they were crazy! The keyboardist and the frontman jumping around and climbing on things was amusing to watch. x

They played the majority of my favourite songs, Dashboard, Black Cadillacs, King Rat. I would have been pleased if they'd played Bukowski though. Good to hear :), I was at the front too in the rain too in my short shorts! Noo I missed them, I spent all of Sunday getting drunk then I went and watched half of Marina & the Diamonds and half of Alkaline Trio and that was it for Sunday. Modest mouse, Minus and Foxy were definitely my favourites of the weekend :D Who were yours? :)

You needn't cringe! I liked Klaxons too, and I'm also going to see them. 50% based on that I've never liked Blink 182, which noone can believe! x

Weighed down by vodka is the best way :) I got 48 cans of Strongbow for £20 from Tesco's, best deal ever, and then I got a bottle of Lamb's spiced Rum aswell, it's going to be insanely messy Modest Mouse and Los Camp! are going to be highlights of the weekend if I manage to drag myself to them. :D Who're you looking forward to most? x

Hi Cathy. Glad you are joining us on the desert island. ... Now .... the agony of choice. Distilling 8 tracks out of thousands. Sorry about this. ... ... Existentialists would argue that we encounter the true self in the involvement and agony of choice and in the pathos of commitment to our choice. ... Yeah, but what do they know, eh?

Modest Mouse, Foals, Rolo Tomassi, The Get up Kids, Queens of the Stone Age, Yeasayer and Crystal Castles are probably the main ones! There's a lot though, I'm going to be one of the minority going to watch Klaxons as opposed to Blink 182! Who are you wanting to see? :)
