Amazing library. What surprises me though; you have Fantomas, but you haven't got Mr. Bungle? Go check that shit out. (also, suggestions always welcome :) )

I thought this would be a cool way to hear some new interesting music as well as get to know LFM peeps. So, here's what Ima gonna do. Each day I will post a message to 4 of my LFM friends recommending a station of music that isn't in their library. And will ask for a return favour. It should be fun. :~D So, Here We go! http://www.last.fm/listen/artist/The%2BCollectors/similarartists

Just back from a brief holiday: yeah, I saw that Spotify had jumped the Atlantic! Getting ready to see Caravan (and Barclay James Harvest, Anathema, Amplifier and possibly NeIl Morse if I can bear it!) on Saturday. Unfortunately, I suspect that only Pye Hastings will be there from the great Caravan line up - but I live in hope that a Sinclair or two will turn up!

Hi from Detroit. Love your expressions about all the different ways you listen to music. It's true, we all have music in so many different parts of our lives. last.fm is just one of them. In my real life I listen to a lot of britpop and 60s music on cd. Here it seems to be spacerock and psychedelic. Love Hearts.

Conóceme

Long way from home, music be my queen. Lines on my face are those lost chords found.

My recent (3-month) listening stats

There's an expression which I like a lot, which is, success is buried in the garden of failure. So, if you're willing to go to that garden, and dig and dig and dig, and try and try and try, eventually you'll succeed with some ideas and some success.
- Rick Wakman

To be fair, not only can Last.fm library hardly present my listening history, but also it will never be an accurate image of what I am listening to. I mean, I only listen to 3 chords 4/4 Rock/Metal songs when I jog (otherwise it would be hard to keep the pace, for me at least), I like playing random radio channels while driving (the first rule on safe driving - never play complex songs in the car!), and I still use my dumb old CD-player from time to time, not even mentioning the songs I listened from TV programs, cafeteria, and many other sources from which music just cannot be scrobbled. Moreover, minute per artist is a better unit of measurement than track per artist, isn't it? Nevertheless, Last.fm is a good Playground.

My queen... it is your move.
