I couldn't read today but I'm really enjoying it. :) What are you reading presently?

I don't need much going on around me; stress and hectic and big crowds make me go crazy. Yeah, it's hard to go along with someone with completely different needs and views even if it seems to be kinda exciting at the beginning. I hope you had a nice birthday. :)

I'm not a fan of parties either. I prefer listening peacefully to music, reading, drinking coffee & talking to friends, etc. Sounds boring, huh? :D Okay, I hope you'll have fun. :) And Bowie is incredibly photogenic. :)

Haha, I'm almost jealous of your cheerfulness. :) My week was relaxed, exactly what I needed. I read books, met friends, etc. Some things could be a lot better but then again, they could be worse. I'd love to see Faith No More one day too, tell me then if you enjoyed their show. :) And I started reading "Diary" and I find it greatly spellbinding so far. Thanks for the recommendation!

I can't see it in your profile but I thought you were 27 few days ago LOL. How was your week, btw?

hi there. I should mention that I don't make it onto the site too often, mostly my friends and I use the scrobbler with an IRC bot. but it's already been a profitable friendship: you've reminded me that I need to get hold of some manic street preachers. thanks!

Yeah, it seems to be a highly interesting book, looking forward to reading it. I have Plath's diary unread on my bookpile... Btw. I bought "Diary" by Chuck Palahniuk today. :D Haha, right, he was an incredibly good-looking man. Though I wouldn't feel so attracted to him if he was kinda stupid or had an empty head but as we know, he had the whole package. :D

Oh yes, he had sure an amazing taste in books. I bought "Black rain" by Masuji Ibuse after I've seen it on his list. And it reminds me that I loved "The bell jar" by Plath too. There are pics of him in his apartment and it seems like as he had jam-packed bookshelves instead of walls. Lovely. I love intellectual and intelligent men. :)

Back when the most offensive name possible in capslock was the cool thing to do. I've had people interpret it irl as both "cunt scurvy" and "cunt's curvy". I'll let you be the judge on that one.

Thank you, I noted "Diary" and "Haunted" down. :) I have seen the movie in parts, I wasn't really interested but then again, I'm not such a huge fan of movies anyway. But I'm really curious about the book. I bought a copy of "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" few months ago but I have piles of books I haven't read yet at home. Oh my... Do you know "Papillon" by Henri Charrière? I thought it was kind of spellbinding. :) Oh and Nietzsche's work fascinates me too.

"Fight Club" by Chuck Palahniuk is already on my wishlist! :) What's his best work anyway? "Lord of the flies" by William Golding, "Hunger" by Knut Hamsun, "The stranger" by Albert Camus and "Crime and Punishment" by Dostoevsky are among my favourites. And I love non-fiction books about mental disorders. I'm also drawn to the extreme forms of literature, like Marquis de Sade or Lautréamont. There are still SO many books I've still got to read... :D

The United States of America and White Noise are pioneers ofexperimental electronic music, check them out if you're open to "weird" music. :) "The Garden Of Earthly Delights" by TUSOA is one of my fav tunes currently, it is addictive somehow. :D

Thank you! I had already added The Dukes of Stratosphear to my list after I've seen them in your charts. :) Sounds highly interesting. Oh my, my list is getting longer and longer. :D Great feeling to know that there's still tons of music out there which I haven't discovered yet.

I will watch it, thanks. :) "Pissing in a river" is on the album "Radio Ethiopia". God I love that tune but I overplayed it heavily. Your current weekly charts are great, really! And I've listened to only one XTC album ("Skylarking") and was thinking about getting another. Which is worth buying? :)

Oh, no, I haven't seen it. :( "Horses" is a gem but I prefer "Easter". :) "Wave" is one of my favs too. "Pissing in a river" must be my favourite song by her, I was absolutely captured from the first minute. And the classic "Because the night" is a timeless anthem.
