You know, I might like rdio a little better than Spotify. I know that I'm often on record as hating all internet comments, but having them under albums and being able to flag a specific song and comment on it is totally brilliant, and the community of users is actually pretty decent so far. And obviously, using it via a browser is much more convenient and probably the wave of the future anyways. Spotify has a much better selection, so they will continue to get my money, but if that changed I'd probably at least check out the rdio mobile app (which sounds pretty tight from what I've read) and maybe switch subscriptions.

Yeah this thing isn't scrobbling for shit. Anyways, I still love the IDEA of Pandora, but it's an idea that just doesn't work, I think. It's still popular as fuck and going nowhere though. Not being able to bookmark songs and artists anymore was the last straw.

Also, I have to say that the only time really gets me to listen to stupid stuff is when there is a same named artist. I don't have nearly as many what the fuck moments as I did with Pandora, which is now officially almost completely worthless. Speaking of internet radio, when my laptop crashed I got really depressed and set up a Slacker Radio station and spent like two hours adding something like over 400 artist seeds because that's what normal people do when they are depressed. It's not bad. But it's pretty bad, actually. It plays a lot of shit where I'm like, "Oh hey, I've been meaning to listen to this for a real long time." and then I'm like, "Ahh, THIS is why I never got around to listening to it!". Have you ever dealt with it? I'd be interested in your opinion.

Shit. Didn't realize Rdio scrobbled. This is a real game changer, man.

Are you ready to concede that is the best internet radio? I've started using rdio, btw, since my laptop crashed and I'm using a buddy's loaner and wouldn't feel comfortable downloading Spotify to it (also I don't even know if it would run on Ubuntu). What was your issue with it? I haven't experienced a problem with it yet (using Chrome on 7 and Firefox on Ubuntu). ALSO WHY ISN'T YOUR ACCOUNT ON RDIO LINKED TO YOUR FACEBOOK. WE NEED TO BE FRIENDS ON AS MANY THINGS AS POSSIBLE JOSH.

What, precisely, was the inspiration behind getting rid of the 7 day charts?

Have you listened to Liver! Lung! FR! yet? I prefer those versions to The Midnight Organ Fight by a long shot.

It's good, but far more conventional than his other two albums. I really can't decide if that's a good or a bad thing, since each track on those albums were either totally amazing or unbearably pretentious. I would actually probably get it over the new M. Ward though, which I've been a bit bored with.
