Wow, Master's thesis at your age?! You definitely have your eye on the eagle. Sounds very well deserved, so naturally, a BSP show is in order. I've been enjoying this on the big screen at home: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U12npO0A2oY It has the best sound quality of Mongk II recorded live that I've heard so far. Ha, Phil looks like the classic rawker on stage! Well, I hope you get to go! Although Explosions could be a real treat for the aural senses...

Tough question, hard to pin down great bits from over the years, but 2 that readily come to mind is seeing both BSP and Crayon Fields for the first time, just from an emotional standpoint. I hadn't obsessed over a bands like them since the Smiths' demise. Speaking of which, a memorable moment I'll cherish was dancing with Mike Joyce when he and Andy Rourke did their DJ tour a few years ago. Nicest chap! Underrated drummer for sure in my book. Same venue I've seen BSP at, ironically. How would you choose from your nice long list?! You would like the Coral, maybe check out Roots and Echoes if you care for any kind 60's infused retro sound, but now that I look again at your list...

Pleasure to meet a fellow BSP fan. Quite an extensive list of artists, is there no love for The Coral? Cheers!

I wish you were coming to see RW too :( Although I suppose you technically are ;) haha Aces! What did you buy? Awesome things, I imagine. Bought a couple of albums the other day, but not as good a deal! Next time you're up here I'll take you to Vinyl Exchange or something (if I haven't already?) Also, it's my aim to get rid of that little grey bit on our music match haha probably down to all the 80's shit I listen to ;) xxx

Yeah I should listen to more British Sea Power. You also have a fine list, well done sir. Oh do you want to see Wild Beasts in Leicester on the 9th of May? Not sure how many tickets are left, but it is silly to pass at a good band when one appears

Hey! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, been so busy. I bet you can't wait for June :) My birthday present to myself was a ticket to Mumford and Sons the end of April. So it seems we both have an amazing show to look forward to! We need to catch up soon, its been so long. xxxx

Thanks for the add. My two Elbow gigs (2008 and 2009) also rank pretty high on my list of memorable shows I've attended (along with Blur and James). Those Seldom Seen Kid songs are just so fantastic to hear live. Their next US tour will require several stops for me.
