Phil I just read it today, yeah! The fast version sounds way too fast for me now. Did you like the letters page that was basically all free improv people attacking the Volcanic Tongue bloke? That was funny.

So I decided to sheck out Polvo since you bang on about 'em all the time. Pretty miraculous stuff I gotta say. I may have a new favorite rock band that managed to slip through the cracks. I love DiS man, a gold mine for finding new jams.

Did you notice the Smashing Pumpkins 'today' opening riff sample on 'one hundred month bloom' on the Moor/Rupture record? Oh noes!!

Er I missed that shout! Will check it out today, there used to be a Rupture/Moor track on Andy Moor's myspace page back in the day and it was really good.

hmmm that's a harsh curfew, might not actually make it, will do my best though. will agree with you on the FlyLo front but can't really comment on J Dilla, not listened to much, am personally drawn to FlyLo more by the electronic/IDM aspect than the hip-hop so not too knowledgeable on that. i'll have a listen tonight though. you about in bath for the rest of the weekend?

Yeah, Bristol too! Loads of stuff happening up here that week as part of this festival thing. Just a couple of days after the Cluster swimming pool gig.

Word. I am all over the place as you can see, so are you so this will work. Quik and the Whigs; kinda priceless laying there together on the same number of plays. Maybe I should leave 'em alone, nah, bad idea, time to give Rhythm-al-ism a spin.

I don't think I fully understand the love between man and beast cos i've only ever had a hamster. But that video proves the love exists. The mince pie was warm mind, maybe if it's cold it tastes bad idk. I still owe you a pint oops. One day.

ah no way, i was just looking at my gig listings and it looks like we've been to quite a few of the same gigs, i guess its not really that surprising really. The Ex gig next year looks awesome, looking forward to that. i didn't see a fourth drummer, i must have been blind, my friend was saying there was a fourth drummer but i tried to convince him he was drunk and delerious, woops.

Aye! Journey was long yes, but I went to this Barista Coffee Collective place in Bristol somewhere towards the middle of it and had the greatest (sweet) mince pie I have ever tasted. It was deep and big like a savory mince pie and lurds of rum in it. CHECK THEM OUT
