They just have some industrial influences...i'd say they are more Symphonic...kinda like Sothis or to a certain extent Averse Sefira...unfortunately, i can't find many songs on youtube...but i do have the album in case you want any songs from them

oh i see, so thats why you log into last fm just once a day as you can access a comp just once a day..however i wonder what so brutal activity did you do to your computer that it got fried? :D is your boyfriend also a metal fan or what? for brutal death, well i am huge on that too...i am probably one of the very few ones who love old school death metal as well as the non-oldschool brutal death metal, generally most people are into either one of them, and many of them rather detest the other :| ..although if you go by my charts, they contain more of BDM than old school as i happened to have listened to more BDM than OSDM after i came here in last fm, but then i am not so old in last fm and thus my charts arent yet testimonial of my wholesome taste :( there's not much black metal and hardly any classical music in my charts yet even though i love them and have had a good experience with them :(..anyway, I suppose your favorite genre is death metal? any gigs/fests in the near future?

i did like Sorcier Des Glaces, so thanks for the recomendation...quite different than the other quebec based black metal band that i know...Gotherfall(they are more of an industrial/symphonic BM) here is a sample in case you are interested

yeah old school death metal,death/doom are surely what real, true, pure death metal is...and yeah i guess you're right, those bands are so less known that they are underground among the underground....hmm Force Fed Flesh, never listened to them, should check that out sometime as i love brutal death too :)... btw if you dont mind me asking, why dont you scrobble much stuff regularly? :) is it because of the scrobbler's incompatibility with CDs and ipods or something?

you should definitely check out Nunslaughter then if you love evil old school death should also try Shattered Soul, pretty decent stuff..blackened death kind of...and as for Philly, well i think a good number of nice bands have come from there...Goreaphobia (as you already mentioned), Insatanity, Symphony of Grief, Decomposed, Evil Divine ,Necrotion ,Morgatory are the ones that i have listened to..quite less known bands though :( ... all of these are old school stuff, thus even less known..
