hey yeah i've heard it. Honestly, it's OK, kinda bad by JM standards though. I expected a lot from an album named Battle studies(love the title). I thought coupled with his emo lyircs and titles, he would have the makings of a deep, dark, passionate, heavy hearted record. Unfortunately, we got a very pop pop/plain sounding record, which isn't what I wanted. My fav track is Assassin, but I also like Who Says, Heartbreak warfare, half of my heart, and war of my life. But none of those are as good as anything on continuum or Room for Squares even. It stinks because I wanted to like it so bad. maybe it needs more time to grow, otherwise i wasn't really impressed. what do you think of battle studies?
