good to hear from you. The last few weeks have been better than I expected, at least in terms of the new management. They seem to be very pleasant to be bossed around by, focused and diligent. The tiny tiny workspace has sort-of become tolerable-ish , and the new blood is similarly less trying than I had thought they would have been. Of course, there is the usual small quantity of crazies and people who are clearly totally unsuited for such work, but by and large it’s business as usual. Only with less space for swinging cats. I am being expected to produce an absurd number of intensive syllabi in a short time, but this is no reflection on the new system, more on the old evil empire of katka, bless. sorry to hear you have no responsibility, though. you must be heartbroken. pohoda was ACE, wovenhand were great live but sound a bit sisters of mercy for home usage. or dead can dance without the budget.

over the several years that i've been listening to her i've built up our fictional relationship rather too thoroughly...i hope i don't shout out anything inappropriate when i see her play in a few weeks' time.

That is because a) we are fucking legends, and b) we should be neighbours for real, and I curse cruel geography and DELTA for separating us.
