    Cool I'd ride quite a distance for a crab paella :) Should take two hours to ride on my fixee at a steady pace, a bit less if I work up a sweat.

    Crail is a lovely place, conservation area with some National Trust involvement I vaguely remember as the original village is pretty old 1100s or so. It's where I eat my first crab, fresh off a boat and cooked on the edge of the quay mmmm :)

    Hi Andy, last weekend of August I will be away to Perth for a long weekend of drunken debauchery with this lot http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/festivalhash/ If you fancy it there is an open mic night in Dunfermline on Tuesday nights. There is also a local Folk Club which meets on a Wednesday night just round the corner from my flat . You are more than welcome to make use of my sofa bed. There are also a couple of pubs that have bands play on most Friday and Saturday nights as well as the "Rock" venue http://www.alhambradunfermline.com/ and obviously The Carnigie Hall which has Newton Faulkner and Eric Bogle listed as playing but not around the time you will be there. All the best

    amusingly, I looked twice at your recently listened list Waits, NHM, Vega, Shocked even Cirque du Soleil and thought how it could have been part of mine. spooky. Mirror man, mirror me, as some might say.

    Re Shifting Sands, I'm not sure about it yet I think it's a grower. Initial reaction it seemed to Harperesque and the vocals needed to be brought forward in the the mix.

    I just wondered what anybody thinks of the new version of 'Shifting Sands' I put up last week.

===============

Hi, I've been around here since it was a radical little startup in London and built up a great playlist of favourites which worked as the best possible radio station for a while. Then I started uploading my own songs and recordings, particularly some very old back catalogue stuff which means that last.fm is still a very important junction for Andy Roberts music. Here's some other places where you can also find me and my stuff.
