Your musical compatibility with arlaqin is Very High (87.737%) Music you have in common includes Johann Sebastian Bach, Bix Beiderbecke, Александр Вертинский, Georg Philipp Telemann and Pixies. That's one of the best compatibilities I've had

That doesn't convince me of anything. In part because it's wikipedia and wikipedia is loaded with mistakes and in part because I'm for sure that's a Bosch. I've never seen any controversy over it outside of what you just showed me, and if you google Tondal's Vision you get a bunch of results claiming it's a Bosch. It's also in books of mine which all claim it's a Bosch. It's from the same time as Bosch and it's done in a style that is very similiar to his other work, more than the "followers" you showed me. Regardless I don't care a lot about the author of the painter in this context. I care if it will help me find more brilliant paintings by the same author, but just for the sake of it, it's essentially a nuance I don't really mind passing over.

I really like this Duchamp. It's distinctly different from his later really abstract theoretical work. http://uploads3.wikipaintings.org/images/marcel-duchamp/man-seated-by-a-window-1907.jpg

Bosch did a pretty big variety of portraits throughout his life, the really distinguishing feature (at least through my eyes) when I see a Bosh is the just how expressive and bizarre as well as symbolic through surreal metaphorical features its. Particularly for a painter during the Italian Renaissance. He has a trained style that screams Italian Renaissance but he has such interesting and often abstract features that stick him out of his time. completely as well. He was a very interesting man even though not a lot is historically known about him, we can see so much humanity in his paintings that I feel like I have a vivid idea of what Bosch would be like. Pieter Huys depiction is interesting. It looks a lot like a Bosch and is dealing with similar substance and context. The style is also similiar. I feel like a lot of the avant garde visual artist early work really was some of their best. It feels less like rebellion to me and I can appreciate it easier, but that's just me.

first one is bosch. it's also real, not sure why you would think it doesn't match his other work, sure it isn't one of his triptychs, but it has the same freaky religious anxiety that's really prevalent in bosch. anyway the impressionist one (the one of paris I'm presuming? the one of trees is pretty impressionist as well, but post impressionist more I suppose). is Gustave Caillebotte, and the one of the trees is actually an early Kandinsky painting. I really enjoy his post impressionist works with really thick strokes that look like something you could only find produced by a human hand.

I think I understand that arlaqin (about the saints), but isn't that happening with all other spiritual religious things? Religious fanatics ruin everything (If that's what you mean). Did you listen to "Maghroor Albi"? I don't think you will need my help finding links, you will find the song in Mawali.

I noticed that you mentioned the sad ones! I think all Fairuz's fans agree that "Wahdon" is her masterpiece. "Wa Habibi" is one of my all-time favorite hymns. I also love "Maghroor Albi". I always identify Lebanon with these things: Cedars, The Saints (Rafqa, Charbel), and Fairuz.

He gets overshadowed by Ravel way too much. I mean, Ravel is good and all, but Debussy is fucking DEBUSSY

Yeah, he has a beautiful melodic sense that very few composers can match, except for maybe Tchaikovsky. But he's too unique to be fairly compared to most other composers.
