Now, I'm not a cultured music worshiper, but I do know some things about it. I haven't been around long enough to appreciate all the "old-school" stuff. So just because I'm new-school doesn't mean I don't know anything. Okay?

for my own reasons.

well…listen to your heart

4. Your all time favorite band?
oooo too many to decide. but i.m.h.o., gatsby's american dream and from first to last have never done anything wrong.

5. Your newly discovered band is?
uhhh…gnarls barkley. i love that song, crazy. since it was all over vh1, i thought it'd be shitty, but it's actually really great. =]

6. Best female voice?
it's a tossup between tina dico, sarah mclachlan, and tori amos. i'm familiar with so many female singer-songwriters because of my stepmom. she listens to stuff by sarah, tori, and tracy bonham. stuff like that.

7. Best male voice?
oh god, ben jorgenson from armor for sleep. and most definitely chris carrabba from..what else? dashboard confessional. ooh, and nic newsham from gatsby's american dream.

8. Music types you find yourself listening to most?
lets see…hardcore, metal, post-hardcore, alternative rock, some singer-songwriter stuff, trance, a little techno, trip-hop, ambient, old-school rap, etc.

9. What do you listen to, to hype you up?
i LOVE LOVE LOVE scotty doesn't know and worked up so sexual.

10. What do you listen to when you want to calm down?
anything slow and pretty, acoustic stuff sometimes. i currently LOVE summer dreams. it completely describes my friend libby. i think its amazing.

ahaha. versus the mirror and beast from sea. i doubt they're on here, but i'll link em anyway.

frou frou. and the format.

definitely green day. ooh, and nofx.

composing. that song freaks me out.

celldweller. if only for one song: tragedy.

it has to be and we all return to our roots. only because i know people in it, which makes it cool to me <3

ahhhahah. i don't really look for that in music videos.

somewhat.

ooo. once at warped at a my chemical romance set. well, almost. but i got out of it. and many times at the dale township hall =]]. but those never get too crazy.

no.

we didn't really date. >< but we were together for a while.

nah. its not for me.

its alright. i like playing classical piano. we can't deny our musical history.

The Forecast. they played the first show of their tour at covell's little town hall. well, i consider them big, being from victory and all, and being sorta well-known.

i listen to some jpop stuff, and some german stuff, like rammstein and this weird band called e nomine.

oh goodness. quite a personal question.

Aw, mostly when we're enjoying ourselves and Mikeman the Shoelover comes to talk to us. rawr.

Uhhh when Skyler took some kids birthday cake, smeared it all over himself during a metal band's set, and rubbed up against everybody.

Uhm, not gonna get into that.

the skies revolt

43. If you were a musical instrument what would you be?
a synth. yeah, that would be pretty sweet.

44. Do you listen to the radio?
when i don't have any cds, yes. only the classic rock station and the "rock" station. well, thats what they call it. i don't quite agree.

vh1, but it gets really annoying. fuse when i'm at my dad's. my mom cancelled mtv, so none of that.

ahhahaha. that's only if you like stuff like natasha bedingfield and kt tunstall. blech =X

hmm…not yet. but i still have many years.

ugh, no, i have a lame family. but i hear my step-uncle was pretty good with a trumpet?

no, sometimes i don't even remember the band name.

not usually.

53. Favourite movie sound track?
the most beautiful soundtrack i know is the one to Tristan & Isolde. it wasn't a great movie, but it had a gorgeous soundtrack. so did Pride and Prejudice.

55. Any musician pet peeves?
being extremely politically outspoken. i hate that. i hate nofx because of that, well, and because i generally detest punk music. i'm the new generation, punk is dead.

56. What do your parents listen to?
my mom doesn't listen to anything. i think she owns like 2 cd's, and they're faith hill and reba mcintyre. ew. ew. ew. my dad, however, started me out on bands like system of a down, linkin park, the old green day stuff, nirvana, etc. He also introduced me to jazz, which i LOVE. he has a ton of miles davis's stuff, etc. my stepmom listens to singer-songwriter stuff (see question 6) and a lot of alt-rock stuff like nonpoint, etc. She and my stepsister introduced me to future leaders of the world.

58. Do you wear band T-shirts?
not usually. but i wear them to shows a lot, because i don't want to look stupid. it doesn't really make me a poseur, since i listen to all those bands anyway.

59. What do you think of people who do?
i think its fine, unless its a sucky band like greenday. i think wearing greenday t-shirts is kind of a game. you try to see if you can be the only one at school wearing the t-shirt, but 9 times out of 10 you probably won't be.

60. What music sub-culture do you feel like you belong to?
ehhhh. i don't really belong to any sub-culture.

61. What song is stuck in your head right now?
this song called little boy by some friends of mine. it's a really dumb song, but its catchy anyway.

oh yeah. and everywhere else.

66. How important is your partners taste in music to you?
its really important. i only like guys who are part of the scene, or like the same music i do. they have to go to shows with me and stuff.
