I got kicked out of the Primus show and listened from behind the stage hahahaha. Had to happen sometime, I guess. They're playing pretty fucking awesome songs this tour. So expect a great show.

If you went to the Kent show then you would have seen a really weird show. Towards the end of it they had two guys from two different tattoo shops come up and arm wrestle each other hahah

Hahaha! Dang, I wish you could have seen it.. I saw Duo de Twang twice. One was a short free set at SXSW and I was going to go see him again at the Mohawk but I'm glad I didn't cause that shit that happened there. I would have been watching X play though so I know I wouldn't have gotten injured. The second time I saw them it was a two hour and ten minute show with 4 encores and before they started playing any of the encore Les played 30-45 second long teases of Puppies>Jerry>John the Fisherman. My friend said it was DMV... But that was not teased. http://toasterland.com/setlists/stats_gen.php?user=Mr.+Blaileen Click on "show dates" and then click on the Dallas Twang show. I got a De Anza Jig :') So happy. Sucks I had work at 5 the next morning though.

Also.. The Sebadoh show was weird because it was in a HUGE tent and there were only about 75-100 people there but it was so big it looked like no one was there

Yeah! I am getting lucky. My boss promoted me, I got to take a month long vacation to go to South Africa. I come back I get a bunch of raises, I work hard then a couple months later I get a vacation day to see Les Claypool in Austin, WHICH I missed the Buzz show here for, I come back and I get a raise a week later. And I get two days off for Primus. I don't know how I have struck such luck. Maybe the four leaf clover I found. OH! I survived a tornado yesterday as well. Serious. Fucking. Shit. The house I was in had NO damage at all. And a coworker I saw shortly before it started storming was tripping on acid. I was worried but he texts me after it all and asks if we're okay and when I asked him how he was he said "kick ass storm yo" grapefruit sized hail. Texas is crazy, the sun is shining one second, it rains the next then it hails worse than I've ever seen the next minute. THEN tornadoes form.

It also turns out my neighbor got asked to play, but is kind of shy because Sebadoh is one of his favorite bands and saw them about 20 years ago in Dallas. I would have declined as well haha.

It was super weird, but I look back now and I realize it was super awesome. The drummer for Brutal Juice came out and played a couple songs with them and then Jason and Lou played by themselves then the drummer for Octagrape came and played for them for a little. Lou and Jason switched instruments they same some more with the drummer for Octagrape. It was weird at the time because it wasn't what I was hoping for, or expecting. I'm sure the people who were there just because it was like 12 dollars at a film festival didn't notice as much of a difference. I guess from having no expectations of how it was gonna be. I'm not even sure I'm making any sense! Whatever though, you've made me want to go see Primus. So I'm trying to go to Little Rock. Thanks! You've inspired me.
