i know exactly what you mean! i was into mostly hardcore/metalcore as a teen before i expanded my taste, but it seems i left most of my friends behind in that regard. i'm curious though, you have so few plays. don't listen to much digital music, or...?
I am heading there for school/music. So i'll be there for ten months and live with a host family. Shall be interesting. Those are all nice albums. Although I don't think I've heard the Antony And The Johnsons one..I'll have to give it a listen.
Recently i've been listening to mostly hip-hop/instrumental hip hop and Soul. Stuff like J dilla's album Dounts. I've just been in a hip-hop mood lately. About Built to Spill: their album Keep It Like a Secret is really good in my opinion. You should really check that out when you've got the time. Also I see we have The Dodos in common. I've also been listening to all 3 of their albums a lot lately.
Nice man. Birth of The Cool is a really good album...Of course Kind of Blue is good also. I like Bitches Brew too, but I think Non electric > Electric Miles Davis. What other music you like? What do you think of Pavement and Built to Spill? Crooked Rain Crooked Rain is one of my favorite albums from Pavement but they're all good. I also like Keep it like a Secret from Built to Spill a lot.
Wow, thats cool that you've been listening to them since you were 4! I haven't been able to see them live yet, but I would really like to. At least once would be enough for me. Yeah Wilco(the Album) was a bit of a dissapointment but has some great tracks on it ("You Never Know" and "
One Wing"). But like you said, Wilco is way ahead of the game.
Thanks. Hmmm.....Favorite Wilco albums? I would have to go with Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and Summerteeth. I owe my old guitar teacher for molding my music taste to what it is today because he introduced me to Wilco, and it all branched out from there. All the albums are great though. I love the country vibe to the first two. Overall Wilco is a great band because you never know what they will do next. What are your favorite Wilco albums?
Yeah, sure is. I just got back from seeing the pixies..it was awesome. I really enjoyed how they played Un Chien Andalou while they played. Kansas sounds nice though and ya I've never been there. That sounds like fun, I love throwing myself into things like that...always come out with some interesting and wild times. It's nice over here...it was really hot today however but I spent most of my time down by the beach so it wasn't too bad.
Thank you. And I can't quite recall who I was listening to..but I was listening to someone and decided to look at the comments and saw you..and well, I liked your picture so I went to your profile and wam bam we had "super music compatibility" so I thought I'd send you a friend request for the fun of it.
