Jazz overload almost made me give up on this project altogether, but thankfully I changed my mind.

Ella Fitzgerald Sings The George And Ira Gershwin Song Book

I had to be in the right mood to tackle this one and that is why it has been so long since the last update. Wasn't sure if I could stomach 3+ hours of jazz, but the time passed in a flash and I liked Ella's voice so much that I want to hear her other songbooks too.

The Genius of Ray Charles

For some reason I have never really warmed to the music of Ray Charles and I must say that listening to this album didn't change that. Plus, isn't it a bit bigheaded to call yourself a genius?

Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs

This is a kick-ass album. Makes me want to go watch old Westerns or play some Red Dead Redemption.

Time Out

Oh look, more jazz to end the decade. Aside from the wonderful "Take Five" nothing much really stood out for me here.
