mer30 aziz – In fact I came across it via a tweet earlier today. Most of his views/thoughts are pretty much spot on. Most fans have argued throughout the summer that a 3 man defence especially with how he sees it and with our current squad just does not work. The nearest he can get to it is a 3-4-1-2 formation. I’ll personally stick with 4 at a back though. Performance wise with 4 at the back last night’s defeat (albeit embarrassing) did not feel as bad as the Palermo game! Rough season ahead as it seems….

Mer30 - a friend is following Horncastle on tweeter he told me about this article. Amazing that after all these years I did not know the il capitano also suffered from the same growth problem as Messi! Shame about the tickets :( vali khob we will send as much positive energy as possible to the Pep's troops as possible ;-)

Sure aziz dark mikonam - anyway if you get hold of tickets then as ever you are more than welcome :-) LOL @ the "the guy pisses cologne" saying hehe. Having had the special one leading our men and now potentially also hiring the chosen one in the future I bet quite a few fans would feel a tad jealous hehe I too believe he is intelligent enough to adapt and do so fast elsewhere. Also thanks for the JR’s interview – funny how it took most of us years to find out where his sympathies lied. And then so early on he clearly says he is a Roma fan hehe If I recall correctly his wife who is Italian is a Roma fan. ghorbanet

Ettefaghan I was about to ask and see whether you have booked your london ticket or not? ;-) Kholase with or without a match ticket doost dashti inja bashi baraye final midooni inja khooneye khodete :-) As for the chosen one - generally I’m curious to see how he would cope in Serie A (elsewhere). I'm certainly with you on the 2012 at the earliest departure. Before the Roma takeover I would say we had the upper hand landing him - now I think it's 50-50 between us and Roma. It's hard to be fully objective here ;-)

The Abidal issue is obviously very saddening. I’m glad the surgery went well. Wish him a quick recovery – was very emotional being there and seeing everyone standing up paying their tribute. Not sure if you have been to Rome or not but it’s fantastic – obviously a tad too busy. Anyway as you know there are way too many things to see. One can easily spend an entire week there. Enjoy it albeit there won’t be a Serie a game this weekend.

Mahdi jan 2 bare sale no mobarak. Mamnoon az textet. Zemnan tashakor for the travel tips! We got bacl late last night. Loved Park Güell and generally really liked the city. Just the right size didn’t seem as busy and stressful as Rome and London yet one could sense the city buzz. It kind of reminded me of Florence. The game “luckily” went well. Unnecessarily nervy last few minutes I have to say. I was telling Dona, Mahdi will never forgive me if Barca don’t win tonight LOL so I was almost as tense as if Inter was playing hehe

That was easy.... then there was a challenge of getting tickets for the Getafe game which I also managed to do from your website ;-) We will b sitting pretty much up in the sky vali khob that was the best face value prices we could get. Baraye haminam saal tahvilo dar Barcelona khahim bood! Jaato shadidan khaali mikonam! P.s if you know any nice and non touristy place/area let me know.

Thanks, was a good read indeed. You said it, the high def line scares most interisti. So it’ll be interesting to see how he handles our formation. Considering his background he does seem to be a classy guy – that said obviously his past isn’t exactly to my taste ;-) It will be interesting to see the Milan owned media (Berlusconi) will treat him. They gave him so much slack whilst in charge of Milan (even after our 4-0 hammering). He will be under immense pressure from start with not much mercy from the media. So it will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure on the beautiful side of Milano!

oh and I forgot to say; bad decision by Rosell in regards to the the shirt sponsorship - I'm sure you are not too keen on that! I guess you guys had to do it at some stage!

chakerim, Dorost hads zadi Mahdi jan. Marcotti pretty much nailed it with that article. Our current form (or rather lack off) pretty much is a combination of all that Marcotti mentioned. 3 major ones are 1/no pre-season investment in the team 2/ huge number of injuries to key players and 3/ Rafa’s inability to motivate our players. Also sooner or later he better to realise that high pressing game and keeping position the way we do now doesn’t suit our play and key men in particular. Our team plays best when deploying Mourinho style 4-2-3-1. Quick counter attacking game where Wesley can enjoy his long & precise passes to the likes of Milito who thrives on running behind defenders. Anyway let’s see whether our boys can find some kind of motivation for winning the club world cup trophy which to most of them will be a once in a life time opportunity.

Epic game tonight. Not only because it will serve as one of the 2 title decider games but also because I can’t wait to see your fans reaction towards il mister ;-) Barca’s nemesis will be in your backyard tonight! Won’t say anything else…. :-)

I’m still contemplating whether I should unleash the full power of it or not? I’m not that techie when it comes to smartphones – so I’ll see what I’ll do. But yeah one of the reasons I like it is because of the simplicity of it which kind of ties in with its user friendliness. Interesting words from the Marca editor!!! What an ass! On a positive note when you look back at it again (clip/photo) I guess it’s right to say that things could have ended much worse! Hopefully he can get back on doing what he does best soon.

hehe oh yeah! bezanam be takhteh he is in top form. And the timing could not have been any better as seemingly poor Milito is totally out of form. I think last year's Milito would have scored at least a hattrick yesterday. On another topic; that a-hole Ujfalusi should be given a 10 match ban or something. There were always something about him that I disliked when he was playing for Viola. On the iPhone note; there were a lot of soul searching before the purchaser as I dislike generally dislike some of Apple's policies. Vali khob did lots of research and iPhone 4 did fit the bill - am super content with it ;-) Think a while ago you had a soft spot for their iPad too hehe

Loved the godfather analogy hehe You may know this already but this a hole is also Balotelli's agent! So imagine how much we have had to put up with his shit. Since his Malmö days Ibra has always been custom to feel pivotal for his team. In Barca it was a different story and I think it was a big blow to his majestic ego ;-) Anyway I wish Man C was in CL so he could move to Manchester instead! Also if Mou v Barca is anything near Mou v Lega Calcio then undoubtedly it will be the blockbuster of the year :-) And thanks for tonight. The 6 - 1 record would indeed be a special achievement.

Anyway I just hope you guys benefit from Ibra's sale as much as we did ;-) You now seem to have gotten Masch as well - rock solid is all I have to say :-)

salam, 1ki az hamkaram in link'o baram ferestad ( he is a Arsenal supporter) - I thought I would forward it to you. It's a good read on Barca’s finances. Not sure how accurate they are though! http://swissramble.blogspot.com/2010/05/how-can-barcelona-afford-cesc-fabregas.html btw, hanooz donbale kari ya joor shode'o be maa khabar nadadi? ;-)

oh yes, priority 1 is for engerland to get out of this WC! hehe and be ghole khodetam IF good old Germans can't make it then I have to rely on my Argentinean brothers ;-) Interesting observation there; Tara & Messi and obviously don't forget me and the special one! I guess I need to check and see if my brother Arta shares his b-day with another footballing genius hehe

It was always going to be a decent downgrade post special one era! And here he is! ;-) Anyway with us he will only be the Coach and not a Manager, unlike his time @ Liverpool. As expected he won't have a big say in the transfers, as that will be handled by Branca & co. Further luckily the contract only runs for 2 years (with several clauses/conditions) which is good news. True also regarding his men management skills (or the lack of) which unfortunately reminds me of Mancini. Finally it will be interesting to see how he adopts coaching a team who is expected to win the league rather than being to a degree in charge of underdogs (Valencia and Pool). Oh and pls don’t get me started on these damn flags hehe
