Yes a lot of Horner scrobbles now. I only need Krull (which is his best score imo) and Where The River Runs Black and I will have virtually completed the set, at least the ones I want anyway! I don't know if I have mentioned it before, but listen to the main theme of Krull (especially the part from 3.00 onwards): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjK-X4qddEk ! Krull was a low-budget B-Movie in about 1983, but it has one of the most ridiculously OTT scores I have ever heard, and this is not what Horner is usually like nowadays.

Blood Diamond is a good score. It's good that you've finally been able to pick it up. My fave cue is London, but Solomon Vandy is also good. The film is excellent too (even DiCaprio's South African accent is good ;)), so I suggest you might like it too. My tipple at the moment is still James Horner, especially Titanic atm. I have two albums in the post from the US: Glory and How The Grinch Stole Christmas. I am annoyed that they haven't turned up yet (puchased on 18 Nov). Happy birthday for the other day too, i noticed in your tweets --->

I am a newcomer to Basil Poledouris. I want to have a listen to Free Willy (not the sequels though); its a family score I have looked at for a while now. And also Robocop could be quite good. I like the sci fi scores (although not as much as fantasy/adventure). I have so many new scores to listen to I just don't have the time. What album is that Joe Hisaishi track you have played a lot recently from? I don't really know Hishaisi at all really, but Spirited Away is a nice gentle score, and a great movie too. Japanese/korean composers seem to be able to find a nice melody and use solo instruments, like violin or a piano, to great effect with it. They don't usually utilise a full orchestra. Check out this track from Byung-woo Lee's A Tale of Two Sisters score (it's a great psychological thriller): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZtFyPXGkeA

Unfortunately Peter Jackson's latest film The Lovely Bones is getting panned by critics. Such a shame as he is my fave director. Anyway, I will still go see it and pick up Brian Eno's score.

Powell's Jumper is his worst score IMO. Tilton's game score is infinitely better lol.

No, no luck with Stephen King's IT. It's available on torrents apparently, but I don''t download from there, and as it was not released commerically on CD, I struggle to find a copy. And btw, didn't John Powell score Jumper?

Library

Lots of film music I like. I have a growing collection of film soundtracks, although I'm nowhere near a hardcore collector. My first CD soundtrack was Simon Birch and my latest soundtrack obtained is The Hunt for Red October. I listen to other music too but a good percentage will be related to movies and video games.

Recently Added

Some recently added soundtracks to my Last.fm library:

Organisation

I try and keep my tags organised but Last.fm really needs to do their bit sometime in making it work well. I tag soundtracks with just their title given to the film, video game unless it's a promo or a multiple soundtrack release.
