Yeah the elbows to the jaw kind of take away from the experience xD I think it could be the area though, I saw Mogwai live a month or two ago and a pit broke out during the crescendo portion of Batcat. It was gross

yeah it got old quick, that sounds pretty pleasant, it seems every town has a sort of metal scene, it's just a shame over in the states it's filled with slam dancing

I can imagine it being worth the trek though. That's good you at least have a local scene that's halfway decent to keep yourself occupied with. Around here it's usually pop-punk or shit-tastic post-hardcore.

nice, it sound like it'll be good, especially if it's a good price. I feel you on only going to a few major shows a year. they're exhausting

nah i haven't seen them yet. that sounds like a good show though, you're lucky festivals are usually on the other coast for me, either that or they're super expensive and corporate. sheeit i'm checking it looks like the closest they're coming to me is ohio, should've been on my shit earlier

Not sure if I added the right one but anyways, yeah we are still. We recently got offered a 50 piece CD release but declined because we haven't truly found our sound yet and that demo is just 3 songs and not very refined. We are working on our next release though, I also have some other solo stuff I do. I have some lo-fi drone folk project I'm working on

Sweet, not much at all. I'm planning on taking a year off and going back to school next September for audio engineering/music production but other than that.. Oh yeah, I'm also going to Japan this summer which is gonna be pretty cool. I do have a ton to tell you, but we never work the same days so it sucks

Oh yeah all the albums are great. For a first timer I'd say start with knife man > people that can eat people then christmas island. They have a lot more albums that are also really great and worth checking out but I'd say start with those for now
