1. Dave Matthews Band
Least: Can't Stop
If this song makes it on the new studio album (which it probably will) I'm not going to be happy, unless they really fix it up. Just corny, bad, boring.
Most:
Raven
Great lyrics, great music, great sax solos, just love it all. My life isn't complete until I hear it live.
2. 311
Least:Waiting
More like waiting for the song to end. Boring lyrics/vocals, definitely not their best song.
Most:Inner Light Spectrum
It changes often, but pretty much anything on Transistor. Kickass album.
3. Modest Mouse
Least: Space Travel Is Boring
I haven't heard all their songs, but this one annoys me, and it's pretty useless.
Most:A Different City
Love the riff, interesting lyrics, etc. The Stars Are Projectors is a close second here, that song is epic.
4. Modus Operanic
Least: Black River
Since this is my music we're talking about I can say whatever the fuck I want, and I have to say this song is shit. The drums are the same throughout the whole song and don't sound good, and to think it's a cover song with a different title. Just a disgrace to the original which was way way better.
Most: Sunken Chasm
This has to be my best work. I think it has a great composition with plenty of layers, and it doesn't get stale or dragged out.
5. Death Cab for Cutie
Least: What Sarah Said
Once again I haven't heard all of their songs yet, but I really hate this one. It's too emo for my taste, and reminds me of my two hospital stays which I don't need to be reminded of.
Most: We Laugh Indoors
Love the riff and the lyrics. Can't get enough of this song.
6. Dane Cook
Least: Parking Structure
Can't believe Dane Cook is in my top 10. Anyway, this joke is funny and all, but I have to turn the volume down every time he screeches, way too fucking annoying.
Most: Bonus Track!
Hard to pick, but "well, he dumped on my chest" gets me every time.
7. Metric
Least:Patriarch on a Vespa
Good song, just my least favorite of all of them. Don't hate it.
Most:Hustle Rose
The repetition doesn't annoy me. It's a catchy song, love the music. Though, my favorite changes often, and I also love The Police and the Private.
8. Dave Matthews
Least:Up And Away
Annoying. Hate the organ, hate the reverb on his voice, lyrics are boring..
Most: Cigarette Lit
This shouldn't have been scrapped, they should have saved it for later at least, awesome song.
9. The Mars Volta
Least: Faminepulse
Hard to pick a least favorite. This solo is just a bit much, too much going on at once, gets messy. From 2 minutes on it's great though.
Most:Inertiatic ESP
Always been my favorite, very catchy, what can I say. Complete with Son Et Lumiere it just owns.
10. Cake
Least:She'll Come Back To Me
It's okay, just too country for me.
Most:Shadow Stabbing
Comfort Eagle is a great album. I love the fact that it's an upbeat song on a serious subject.
