  • Javiera Mena - Bar 592, Concepción (Tracklist Incluido)

    5 Jun 2007, 7:02

Sat 2 Jun – Javiera Mena, Mostro

    01. La comida es lo primero (remix)
    02. Cuando hablamos
    03. Esquemas juveniles
    04. Cámara lenta (remix)
    05. Como siempre soñé
    06. Está en tus manos
    07. Sol de invierno
    08. Yo no te pido la luna
    09. Definitiva
    10. Perlas
    11. me inhibe
    12. Portales (Supapilapuso)

    26 May 2007, 21:52

Javiera Mena viene a Concepción.

  • [DL] My hellogoodbye Remix!

    5 May 2007, 7:02

It's raining, i'm sick, and my throat is killing me. I was happy because the week finished and i've got no homeworks or difficult tests to study for... I was quite bored on soulseek and downloaded All of Your Love (A Capella) by Hellogoodbye, and it turned to be a catchy version of the original song, so i started remixing it using The FAT Tuareg 1.5 (my favourite remixing software) and i must say i'm pretty happy with the final result.

All Of Your Love (Tai's Shutdown Love Radio Mix)
    Download (and/or vote): Here!

And, I didn't know there actually was a hgb remix contest on acidplanet.com...

    Will I win? lol...
    Wish me luck! :X

  • And we're repeating it again, again and again...

    26 Mar 2006, 3:07

That's one line that comes automatically to my mind when thinking about Marie Serneholt's debut single as a soloist out of A*Teens.

That's the Way My Heart Goes
    Check the music video here.
And try to name all the references to old pop music videos you have seen.

I can name Britney's VMA performance, a Madonna portrait by David Lachapelle, and a Kylie or Rachel Stevens video...And not only the video is quite unoriginal, but also the lyrics are very predictable, in a slutty-britney way.

Anyway, i'm curious of how her album will be. Probably not so many teen-idol-to-pop-whore-transition songs, and more Richard-X-esque songs... I really hope so!!!

Here's a song by Pay TV who really teaches the key to easy success. (love the video, btw...)

    Refrain Refrain

    We smell
    What will sell
    And we can tell
That this song is gonna pay off well

    We steal
    A melody
    Take some clichés
The easy way to make it sound OK

    Next
    Write a text
    Not too complex
Skip the message and stick to B.S.

Making a hit can be easy
Just put together the standard pieces

    Refrain, refrain, refrain, refrain
And were repeating it again, again and again
    Refrain, refrain, refrain, refrain
And were repeating it again, again and again

    Fake it
    'Til you make it
    If you wanna break
And be a one hit wonder - shake 'n' bake

    Success
    Won't come unless
    You get undressed
Have public sex and then you tell the press

    Reveal
    Your privacy
    Cry on TV
    Do anything anyone wanna see

Getting a hit can be easy
As long as you're loud and cheap and sleazy

    Refrain, refrain, refrain, refrain
And were repeating it again, again and again
    Refrain, refrain, refrain, refrain
And were repeating it again, again and again

    Then
    Near the end
    We raise the key
    From A to B
    What a melody

    Refrain, refrain, refrain, refrain
And were repeating it again, again and again
    Refrain, refrain, refrain, refrain
And were repeating it again, again and again

    Refrain, refrain, refrain, refrain
With no brain, no brain, no brain, no brain
    Refrain, refrain, refrain, refrain
With no brain, no brain, no brain, no brain

    Refrain, refrain, refrain, refrain

Of course not all the lyrics remind me of Marie, only a few lines.

And, sorry. My english isn't perfect. ;P
  • Songs that remind you of Brokeback?

    11 Mar 2006, 15:54

Well...Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless MindBrokeback MountainThe CardigansThe Postal ServiceBeck
BONNIE PINKatamiUtada HikaruAirDepeche ModeAyumi HamasakiKylie MinogueSarah McLachlanShakira

I'm by no means a good surveys maker, but the point of this is to do a list of 5, 10, number of songs that you want, that reminds you of Brokeback Mountain. Here's the list coming from a boy who loved the movie as much as he adores japanese pop ballads:

    01. Last Kiss
    02. Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime (from Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind)
    03. First Love
    04. We Will Become Silhouettes (i'd love to do a fan-video with this one...if i knew how to)
    05. Under The Sun feat. Bonnie Pink (from japanese movie "LAUNDRY")
    06. Carnival (Puck Version)
    07. Cherry Blossom Girl (or boy, in this case)
    08. Carols (oh, those lyrics...)
    09. Somebody
    10. Do What You Have to Do (personally, my best choice.)

    - oh yeah, almost forgot this one... -

    (bonus tracks)
    11. (incredible lyrics...if u don't know any spanish, go google the translation. probably why of the reasons Shakira sucks so much in english compared to the awesomeness, beautifulness of her spanish lyrics.)

    12. For What It's Worth (polar version) (beautiful song, a lot better than the original ver., and it suits the country music from the movie perfectly.)

    13. Cowboy Style (yee-haw! :P)

    Ok, now's your turn. ;)

It would be great if you describe why those songs remind you of the movie, which parts of the lyrics or from the movie, etc.

Oh, and sorry for my english...it isn't perfect, you know. :/

Jet Age, Light & Magic, Evil (Radio Edit).

-- what is a good memory you have considering the music of 10?
I love the fact that Bonnie's music is so versatile and interesting, in writing lyrics and in producing terms. Her lyrics are always great and sincere, very much like Ayumi Hamasaki's.

Course it is..., Right now, Paradise (Not For Me).

-- what is your favourite lyric that 2 has sung?
"To have every man but to love only one

To be a sinner, a saint, a lover, a friend

Believer in truth, defendant of lies
To know the purest love, the deepest pain
To be lost and found again, and again, and again
These are the dreams of an Impossible Princess."

-- what is your favourite song by 9?
    Human. No contest.

-- how did you get in to 3?
Come on, she's been everywhere long time before i was born!!! It was obvious i was going to get into her music and love the first works i saw from her on tv, like "Human Nature", "Take A Bow", "Vogue", etc.

-- what was the first song you heard by 1?
Back in 2000..."kanariya" and "Fly high" were the first songs i heard from Ayu. One thing was for sure, i HATED the original songs and fell in love with her remixes.

-- what is your favourite song by 4?
    "Come Together", "My Best Friend".

-- how many time have you seen 9 live?
    None. :(

-- what is a good memory you have concerning 2?
Her music is pretty catchy, and every song by her can be the perfect floorfiller.

"Kimi no tonari", "flow", "Little more", "by myself" (the lyrics, not the music).

-- what is your favourite album of 5?

The secret that I hide, will I grow old
How will they hear, when will they learn
    How will they know."

-- what is your favourite song of 1?
Now this is a hard one... it changes everyday, depending on my mood. Right now i'm addicted to Dearest (Acoustic Orchestra version). It's so perfect...the music and the beautiful lyrics...

-- what is your favourite song of 10?
Sleeping Child (Protein Shake Mix), remixed by Yuka Honda from Cibo Matto.

-- how many times have you seen 8 live?
I'd love to see her singing in front of me...lol.

-- what is your favourite album of 1?
Two wonderful albums: "I am..." and "MY STORY".

-- what is a great memory you have considering 9?
Alisson, riding a disco-ball horse. Truly priceless.
