Had this for a couple of weeks, and I would go as far as saying that it is his most enjoyable record yet. But beware, it is also Squarepusher at his most chilled yet. This is definitely one of my favourite of his releases
Yeah, it is his most accessible work so far, but it seems underwhelming because of it. I want my Squarepusher to be complex, difficult, and consuming. Hello Everything has some great songs, but overall I'd much rather listen to something like Hard Normal Daddy or Go Plastic. Maybe I'm being too harsh on it... don't get me wrong, it's a very good album. My expectations for Jenkinson are too high, I suppose.
