Hey, nice one, seems like a great site, thanks. Like you say, looks like a lot of hard work gone into it so hope it goes well, i'll keep it bookmarked. You listened to new Bill Callahan yet? Really like it, but then I'd probably like anything he put out, ha. I'm a big fan of Gang of Four, although that mainly refers to the album Entertainment, and they are from Leeds too. Was hoping they'd do a home gig but seen anything of it yet.

Hey there Yeah King of Limbs is class, really enjoying it...on repeat. My favs are pretty much the same as yours, last four are brilliant, codex esp, plus I like all the others. Thats a kop out from the Black Keys, fatigue, haha. Sure they will be back tho. I haven't been to a gig in a little while now, but I'm sure it will soon pick up. Just trying to think of anything new I've heard recently but nothing springs to mind, I've had somewhat of a post punk fuelled few months listening, so had my head in the 70's and 80's quite a bit, ha. Speak soon

Haha, that advert is funny, thing is I know some folks who are like that at uni, so true. The bit about Jack Karouac aswell, ha. Yeah the Prospect Hummer song is a cracker. I had a good old listen to Middle East, very good indeed, for some reason I thought it was quite different to what I remember, or confused it with something else. Good to see you have some decent artists touring, saw Cold War Kids a couple of times a few years ago when Robbers & Cowards was out and they were ace, and saw Girls last year I think, enjoyed that too. Another guy to listen to if you haven't already is Tallest Man on Earth, his songs are brilliant, got 2 albums out, an e.p and a new e.p. Very folky and he's playing in Leeds in November! Were just about to hit the cold times here, just when you're getting the sun. Dont mind it for a change though, an excuse to wrap up warm.

Hey sorry for the stupidly late response. Yeah black gold of the sun is fantastic track, been a favorite since i first heard it way back around '97 (i think). I see Mark told you about the Nick Drake night we are going to, really looking forward to that one, just to see Vashti Bunyan in itself is going to be fantastic. If you get the chance i suggest you check out the S. Carey album out "All We Grow", he plays in Bon Ivers band but his own album is great too.

Hi sorry bwt the late reply, yep, I think I have some of the Middle East stuff, but haven't really give it my full intention, but I will do indeed. As for the folk, yeah really into it, myself and fbeaver seem to be the ones from my friends that really appreciate it. Theres a Nick Drake tribute concert (songs of) on at the Liverpool Philharmonic that were hoping to go to in Oct, with Vashti playing again, amongst others. Its like one of those really atmospheric places that we were talking about, so should be great. Got anything lined up for the coming months? I seem to have a packed Autumn, but none of the tickets have actually materialised yet.
