well, i can see that someone already translated the meaning os PRA NÃO DIZER QUE NÃO FALEI DAS FLORES, but just so you know, it means much more than that. this song moved thousands of of young men and women, it was the hyne of one generation, this was the voyce that spoke for the opressed since here in brazil there was a period of mylitary dictature. this song costed its writer future, but brought a very poweful sense of hope and union to the people of a "hopeless" country
