Yeah - scrobbling can be a bit hit and miss sometimes. You can read my frustration in the ipod classics thread in the scrobbler support forum.

By the way - how much do you loose on your ipod scrobbles? A few is normal, the bulk, is not.

Yeah - the taste o meter seems a bit weird sometimes. I get High with people who, frankly like crap, beacuse I like a very few songs by a few artists who are mainstream and poppy. Just because I enjoy Patience by Take Taht doesn't mean I want to make friends with someone who has 8138424 plays by JLS. OK - so the fact I love Jason Donovan probably doesn't help. Love it here.

You know- I considered that as a first dance tune too. Lovely piece of music. This week I am listening to a few things, I haven't scrobbled my ipod for a few days, so my charts are a couple of days out. I have been listening to a bit of Vienna Teng this morning. She currently reminds me of driving through the Greek mountains as I was listening to it then. Also Jewel, and a bit of Slut this morning. Their Interference album is fierce. Aslso listened to my favourite Krsteen Young songs a few times. I need to down;oad more of her tunes from Itunes, really. Btw - I could see you visited my page as I am a subscriber. That is one of the priviliges. I quite like it.

Nah - it's cos you hate country. Buahaha. In all seriousness, though. I think we have proved to each other that we are highly compatible, and not jsut musically. I never really was a big britpop fan, but I wouldn't go as far as to say I hated it. C'mon - what was I listening to at the time??? Actually by then it was probably R.E.M and Radiohead. I was thinking it was stil Bryan Adams, but I think that was earlier. And 80s... have you seen how far up my chart Jason Donovan is??? Pffft.

I have listened to some Bat For Lashes - rather liked her, if the truth be told, but probably not enough to make her one of my top artists. The other person I don't know - but will explore. Do you have an ipod? You can use that to scrobble music too - that is how my playcount is so high at the mo - I listen to my ipod a lot. Spotify also scrobbles to Last.FM which is cool. You can't be precious or ashamed of your music here - but that is half the fun. I get quite a lot of people commenting on the difference between my top two artists, but then similarly, I have found that I am not the only person with such... schizophrenic taste. I am planning a journal entry to mark a year with Last.FM, which will comment on all the new music I have found etc. There is a lot. Anyway, welcome. I really do love it here. I love music and I love stats.

Conóceme

Life is a giant Aural Box of Delights...

I'm into a lot of stuff at the moment, but really giving me aural pleasure right now are Tegan and Sara, The XX, Wildbeasts, Mystery Jets, Band of Skulls, The Black Keys, Belle and Sebastian, Two door cinema club and Bombay Bicycle club.

As a child of an Infamous 70's Dj and a rock groupie, I started my life with music at an early age in the Cafe de Paris. I remember my Dads disco being set up in the front bedroom and him playing music to me when I was little. From an early age I was fed a diet of Disco and funk, but also commercial pop and rock, I was a child of the 80's after all. My first few tapes that Dad bought me were, Donna Summer, Tina Turner, Cher and Brian Adams. I have no snobbery about the 80's I love it all including the outsider stuff too. I love 90's indie, I am mostly known for my love of the man god that is, Jarvis Cocker. However I'm equally obsessed with David Bowie and Kylie. I am a sucker for a catchy indie, pop, rock or electronic tune from any generation of music, but also like experimental stuff too.
Outside of Music I'm a writer and photographer.
