Minutemen, Bomb the music industry!, The Suicide Machines, Bikini Kill, Star Fucking Hipsters, The Gits, Hüsker Dü all seem to be missing.

That's not true. Especially the Misfits and Black Flag were way more influentual than Rise Against or Anti-Flag

"The Misfits are one of the founders of a subgenre of punk, the horror punk, and Anti-Flag just plain sucks ;) " That just supports my argument :D I agree that there are many bands that don't really have a chance of winning the league and didn't have such an impact on US music (the rest is just subjective taste, you can argue about that for years, so we just leave that out now). But still, I believe that there are some bands that are good enough for the league, especially when I look at some bands that are currently in it (regardless of genre)

"One could think the group leader is biased and supports punk bands" thats true, i support what i want. Everyone can advertise, thats not the job of the Leader! And if i make a list, for better support, then i use my own right!!!

I'd say Black Flag and Minor Threat are definitely shafted by this list. Both bands were hugely influential, every bit as much as the Ramones and the Stooges, and most certainly the DKs, being their peers and all.
