Apparently haha. Rush, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, The Eagles, The Beatles, The Decemberists, and a bunch of others probably factor into that.

I thought Rody writing the lyrics would be a disaster. Dunsel is ballin, as is Tandem, as is most of the album.

First listen: Man this is kind of bland. Where are all the epic boner moments and the sick riffs? Second listen: Oh there's some good moments. And the first and last songs are really good. This is a let down though, nowhere close to Kezia. Third listen: OMGGGGGGGGG :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Damn. My week mind was fooled by the obvious meaning of the song and Peart's own comments of it. I was naively lured like a forlorn traveler onto the rocky shores of the obvious interpretation of 2112. I see now how foolish I was to regard as significant the explicit reference to Ayn Rand in the linear notes and the obvious parallel between the lyrics and her novella Anthem. I must pry open my third eye to see past the tangled web of deception that the Illuminati have constructed to maintain their secretive power.

Check it. I got me some sweet Oboe and Bassoon Concertos of the Vivaldi variety.

Did you know that Hoyle isn't at Widener anymore? I felt so out of the loop.

I'm waiting for the album to come out to listen. I heard that's much more like Fortress, which makes me kind of disappointed. I was hoping for a more Kezia like sound because, well obviously because I prefer that album. I wanted more acoustic stuff, but I heard that's not there. I wanted harsh vocals, but I heard they're gone. As long as it's good though, I don't really care what it sounds like.

Damn I nailed that for a song I've only heard nine times and not once in the past year. I'll have to listen to it now though.

When the walls come down? It's pretty cool. They said they'll be more proggy this album. I hope that doesn't mean they're going to loose their spastic energy.

what's you think of the new PtH song?

Lyrics to the song I'm listening to now: Optical density refers to the speed of light in a medium. The speed of light in a vacuum is 180,280 miles per second. Refraction is the bending of a light beam as it passes through a surface separating two different light transmitting materials.
