That's a little harsh. Can you blame me if you leave your account logged in on my conputer? it's not like I reset your play count or anything.

It's quite good - prefer Step though! I've already listened to Kurt Vile's new album and I agree, it's really nice (Pitchfork actually got it right this time), though I do slightly prefer Smoke Ring. Hadn't heard of Public Service Broadcasting yet, I'll check them out - thanks for the tip :)

You're very welcome Pete - so it was my fault was it!? Glad you enjoy it. Rediscovering my music now with Google Music, all uploaded to the cloud, can play everywhere - like the Apple thing. Best wishes :)

people's overall list changes very slowly so it's usually not an issue. but i'll change it to expire cached images daily.

it caches the images for a week. not sure when exactly yours was last calculated, but the difference is only between 3.88 (yours when rounded) and 3.89 (your current image). it seems to be working fine though. i deleted the cached image for yours so it recalculated just now.

hey, the aep score only evaluates the top 50 artists in your overall list. everything still works, it's just that your overall list is probably much slower to change the rest of your lists. feel free to leave feedback on the github page

Hi PeteB123, I love what you listen to, I wanted to hear your "Just heard, sounded great!" playlists easily. I can't use Spotify because of my location and I use Grooveshark for all my playlists and scrobbling, so I tried to export the songs with the help of Spiffyshark service, but it doesn't seem to work. I would be really thankful if you just put them on Grooveshark, maybe ? Thanks !

The first thing you should know . . .

I keep a meticulous note of all the tunes that, when I hear them for the very first time (or for the first time in ages), sound damned A m a Z i n g. That way I get to listen to them again (and again and again and again sometimes. Often even more agains than that).

But better than that, you, dearest listener, get to find out about them too.

Check out my "Just heard, sounded great!" playlists for the full list (h i n t : there's now five, since limit each one to 200 tracks). The link is over there on the left, underneath the block of this week's top eight arists' photos (down there. LOok !)

I also hand-craft Spotify playlists, which encapsulate the on-going love affair I have with, as a wise man once said, good music. Links to them all can be found below - I am almost certain you'll enjoy.

Top amongst these is the continuously added to and highly recommended Just Heard, Sounded Great! (Spotify Ed.). This would be a g r e a t one to subscribe to ;-)

And just quickly while we're on the subject - it's also available in a brand-new Groove Shark edition. If groove sharking is your, kind of, thing... :-)

Three quotes about music that I like*

1. "Simply put, music can heal people."
Harry Reid

2. "Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life."
Berthold Auerbach

3. "We are the music-makers,
And we are the dreamers of dreams..."
Arthur O'Shaughnessy
