Oh how annoying about your scrobbling problem (this sounds faintly medical for which I apologise!). I LOVE the 'Rome' album, apparently they used a lot of the original musicians who worked with Ennio so they couldn't really go wrong in my book :D Have you discovered the Secret Sisters yet? First saw them on Jools Holland on New Years Eve. At the moment my fav of theirs is 'the One I Love Is Gone' Kinda country, kinda Chris Isaak... lovely to hear from you. Hope you are well too x

Rocking another new avatar LOL! Guess what, I got tickets to see Flo yet again this June--couldn't resist. Can't believe so many tours without a new album. Jeez...

How's it been Paul? Just went to a Florence show over the weekend. I think I'm starting to really appreciate her music now. Took a long time for it to all sink in. This time around, she sounded much more polished and twirled around much less. Sat kinda far from the stage, but I still had fun. Back in April, we got to stand right near the stage. I just bought their iTunes Festival London 2010 set. Very good stuff!!!

Although November seems so far away, I might order tickets real soon just in case. Still just $25 US, though at a different venue. Strange how Flo keeps touring without putting out any new material. On the first CC album, which always make me think I'm in a video game, I like Crimewave, Courtship Dating, and Vanished. But I think I like the second album (latest) better. Are they popular in the UK? Hey, how's the Page Plant tracks that you just listened to recently? I once liked Led very much:)

Hey! I see you've been digging the Twilight: Eclipse album. I have to confess that I had to go buy it as soon as it came out, despite not seeing any of the films (or reading any of the books) - primarily because of my Metric fandom. I'll be getting the Scott Pilgrim album for the same reason... but I'll be a little less ashamed of that one(!) I've been pretty busy too - I'm just back from a week of climbing in the Dolomites in northern Italy. Tremendous scenery - I definitely want to get back there one day! Loved Latitude - some great bands, as well as all the comedy and theatre. Fantastic to see Jonsi live. Really enjoyed Dirty Projectors and School of Seven Bells too. Managed to avoid any violence, despite going to see Crystal Castles(!!) I notice The Mummers are touring again at the end of the year - are you seeing them again? (Though I note they didn't email us about the tour, which seems odd...)

Yeah, I like the Metric song on the Eclipse soundtrack. Been trying to figure out the chords. The Metric album from last year was pretty good too. And I do like the Flo track. And as for the bfl, uh, umm, ehh, I'm not too fond of it to be honest. I hope it's not signs of things to come. Hey, will have to check out the Lissie:)
