Howard Shore was the first artist to really get me into music. *is somewhat of a geek* ^.^ do you like Circle of Dust or Argyle Park better? I haven't really listened to either though I've been meaning too. =D So much music to look into lately. So much schoolwork to get in the way. ^.^ Demon Hunter I've barely listened to at all. I have liked what I've heard though.

I like Celldweller enough. I actually just read a very interesting interview with him in HM, the Christian Music magazine. Very thought-provoking stuff. I prefer Oomph! though but one of my best friends is Clayton's biggest fan in the world so yes, I hear of him quiite often. ^.^

Yeah, the same with the general church population here. But darker whimsical music generally seems prettier to me. I don' t know why. =P

Yay! The Birthday Massacre! ^__^ I have a handful of amazing friends who generally have amazing taste in music. So I am quite blessed. General society, especially Christian society, still thinks what I listen too is just plain weird though. <.< Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland was very whimsical and lovely. The plot wasn't much but it was still quite nice to see. And Elfman's score for it brought to mind Edward Scissorhand's soundtrack for some reason....

heh, yes, I just recently discovered Oomph! myself. And Thank you. It's rare to see huge fans of filmscores, metal, Christian, and industrial music around here. My favourite band for about a year now has been The Birthday Massacre. Synthrock with female vocals and delightful creepy fantasy feeling that reminds me of a Tim Burton movie. ^_^

Thank you for helping me get Oomph! on the charts of the Rebelution group. which really doesn't have such great charts generally. ^_^

I only read the first four Watchmen chapters before seing the movie, but the movie was great. I actually enjoyed it more once it was past the stuff I knew, so I'mglad I didn't read it all. :)

Yeah, I love the chorus of The Human Stain. Great lyrics. And for some reason, the effect that's sort of in the background, for example, 1:21 to 1:29 - I really like that. :D

Merry Christmas! :) I see you've picked up a love for Kamelot since I was last in contact with you, that's cool, I just got their last two albums a couple of weeks ago and I've been enjoying several of their songs a lot - definitely my favorite male-fronted symphonic/power metal band, much more enjoyable than Sonata Arctica was. :)
