I listened to Slint a week ago. I thought it was pretty good, but I didn't love it. I really liked the first and last songs though.

I got No Kill No Beep Beep and The Meadowlands today, I will inform you of the extent to which my mind has been blown by the quality of these albums soon.

Cool, thanks for clearing that up :) 'll have to listen to the EP soon. It really is a great song, probably one of their best.

Sadly, no. Fallout Tactics has multiplayer though, but it's very odd and more of a RTS game. I really hope Fallout 4 will have some kind of multiplayer though, that'd be awesome. Anyway, the Fallout 3 & New Vegas single player is awesome. Totally recommended. Fallout 1 I didn't enjoy too much but Fallout 2 is actually pretty good, I enjoy it. Come to think of it, I believe there is a Fallout 2 MMO mod, though I don't know how it works. This is a pretty long answer to a yes/no question but I hope you are okay with that! By the way, we should totally get some multiplayer games and play some more

Haha Or maybe it's just a heavily distorted normal version, I can't even tell.

Hey, I wanted to ask you... there's a mysterious version of Spider in the Snow on youtube that's slightly different than the album version, and I was wondering if it's the version that is on the Ice of Boston EP. Or is it something different? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQ4TeC4cVcg

Also, as you may recall, the only Q and Not U album that I (used to) own is (was) Power, and I wasn't super keen on it (it was okay, but not great), but I picked up Different Damage yesterday, and I like it much better!

Hey Stuart, sorry it took me so long to get back to you...re: Empire! Empire!, Corey mentioned it to me on Facebook, and I would really like to go, but I don't think I can for a variety of reasons (mostly relating to work, school, finances and whatnot). I haven't been to a show in ages (since Peter Gabriel this past summer, actually), and I'd love to both a) go to one, and b) hang out with you and Corey, but I don't think it's in the cards this time. Something a bit later in the year might work better...I hate that it's so close to the start of the semester. If you do go, however, I expect a report on how awesome it was, so I can appropriately regret that I did not go, haha!

Stuart, I have a confession I must make: As much as I've loved the few Godspeed albums I've listened to, I struggle with having the patience to listen to one since each song/album is so long. I know that seems like a poor excuse, but that's the honest truth. Which album should I really sit down and listen to so that I can be blown away and no longer care about the length of their music?

I love that Godspeed song. Thank you, Stuart. I've neglected their music for way too long and I still remember when F# A# (Infinity) hit me hard one time as I was on a long drive home. Need to hear their music again sometime soon. <3

I just realized that you were THE FIRST person to talk to me about The Dismemberment Plan on here and I can't thank you enough for your suggestion. Falling in love with them all over again. <3

Also, I forgot to mention...I was in Dr. Records last week, and the dude who owns it was spinning Lonesome Crowded West; I thought you'd be pleased!

Oooh, I love it! Is that song from the album "Clarity"? I'm just trying to figure out which album(s) of theirs is good (before they changed their sound a great deal). As for Doomtree, that video definitely sums up how talented each emcee is and makes me have mad respect for them. They have become one of my top favorite hip-hop groups in such a short amount of time.

Didn't Jimmy Eat World used to be good, back in the day? I've heard they have a few old school emo gems.
