It was fantastic! Location, a sports hall that has been used many times for raves in the old days, now relived its moment again.
The staff was very nice and friendly. Instead of being horrible bouncers like some of them can be, they were nice and friendly, proper hosts. This really adds to the experience you want on your night out.
Also the bar was properly arranged, no big queues, most of the time I was back dancing in 2 minutes.
Sven Vath was a bit late, probably due to terrible weather conditions, but that didnt matter. The DJ previous of him, Egbert, who I have never seen before and is ment to be a rising Cocoon star, was fabulous. And Sven was worth waiting for.
The lights and decoration were good, but not something special. What i mean is that we have seen it before, but it still works for me. And when they turn on the lasers later at night, after all these years, it still is a "aaawh" moment.
This party did not let me down. Organisation, line-up, lights and decoration all very good. Hopefully Timewarp will return to Sporthallen Zuid in Amsterdam next year, and I am definitly considering to go to Timewarp Germany, instead of Mayday, next year.
