Having watched 'slow century' a number of times, there's this one scene towards the end where the band is about to start recording terror twilight and they're all hanging out at bob nastanovich's house in kentucky during derby weekend and they're all obviously trashed.

In any case, there's this brief snippet of steve malkmus playing some broom guitar to this nifty riff that I knew i recognized but have never been able to place…

…well after many long years of struggle I finally have been able to identify it! It's Sludgefeast! For reasons that will continue to baffle me, i haven't listened to any Jr in a long long while. Good times!
