I've heard the EP, the LP comes out in the summer. They decided to split the songs from the EP from the LP as two separate pieces, but they want fans to combine the two... but I'm not sure if it's in numeric order or the set order they put them in.

haha Justice isn't even what I listen to. My brother used to play Goblin and Cross over and over and over again... the "last 12 months" is much more accurate. YES ohmygod Mirroring's so good. Oh gotcha. Honestly Fantasies was like one of the first albums i heard that got me into music that wasn't shitty dadrock and thrash metal. Saw Metric perform on Late Late Show w/ Craig Ferguson, and looked 'em up. So it's got a special place in mah heart

I need more Metric and Hey Marseilles. Haven't gotten around to The Unicorns either. haha that might be why. Fuck yes, Grouper! Dragging The Streets evokes some strange stirrings in me driving around late at night. What do you think of Fantasies by Metric?

Do Make Say Think is actually on break for a while (sadly) so you can expect another Spearin solo record, maybe even another Years record. I'd like that. Hopefully Eight And A Half leaks soon, I've heard too many good things about it. hi josh

I just want another solo album from Canning, I didn't expect Something For All Of Us to draw from krautrock nearly as much as it does. Cookie Duster is really sweet though. Justin Peroff also started his first side-project with members from The Stills, it's called Eight And A Half. I want another Valley Of The Giants album though, if BSS is on hiatus then I think we need to hear some more from that project. http://www.cookiedustermusic.com/ http://aroara.com/ http://eight-and-a-half.com/

Maybe I'm biased, but I think that Kevin Drew is my favorite BSS member. He's just something else... that man... Andrew Whiteman and Charles Spearin are runners-up, gotta love th'Do Make's, and Apostle Of Hustle. Whitey has another project going with his wife called AroarA, did you hear about that? I want him to announce that EP so bad, /mu/ would eat it up like candy. Brendan Canning also recently resurrected his old band Cookie Duster, you need to check out the song they debuted from the album.

The chemistry between Torqy and Amy melts my heart, I can't even handle how beautiful they both are. Have you checked out Torq's side-project Memphis? You should really consider checking it out, it's Torq and a friend of his named Chris Dumont, it's like a poor man's Destroyer. He has another side-project called Dead Child Star, the album that he put out under that moniker was heavily co-written with Jimmy Shaw from Metric, but the extra instrumentation comes from Julian Brown who has worked with Apostle Of Hustle (really talented Broken Social Scene side-project). And you do know that The Darcys' latest is a complete cover album of Steely Dan's AJA right? It's just phenomenal, I can't get enough of it. :)

DAT METRIC AND STARS. Both their new albums later this year are going to be so stellar. I see you like The Darcys too, they're another great band. Good, good man.
