Hey Phil, just a quick comment to say I can't wait for your Belfast show. Wish you guys were headlining, but that may happen some day. I'm sure three years of wait, will definitely be worth it. Thanks for the music. Adam

Hey Phil, just wanted to say that me and my girl are travelling all the way from Greece to watch you play with GIAA on November 12th (she actually planned the whole trip cause she knows I go nuts for you guys). It's gonna be epic, judging by your last show in Athens. Keep it up, you are the bomb. See you in London.

Oh, also, I don't remember if I talked to you about this, or if it was Erin... or Chris... anyway, Charles Spearin (from Do Make Say Think) has a very intriguing side project, The Happiness Project. It's very interesting how he integrates music to spoken word. He said at the show I attended in LA that speech has a subtleness to it with different inflections, raising and lowering of pitch, volume, and intensity. So, he wanted to turn it into music. I hear a lot of spoken word dubbed in as music plays as kind of a background, but this kind of integration is definitely something quite unique.

Hey Philip, here are some purely local bands we talked about at The Red Cup. I think you'll really like some of these. Képzelt Város (everything from these guys are amazing), EXIT project (I prefer their Demo album. There is a lot of jazz fusion in it, which I absolutely love), Magna (very interesting style, kind of rough around the edges but I like them a lot), 花伦 (this is the chinese post-rock band I told you about. Only two songs are available to listen to and both are very unique). One way I like to find some of these small-time bands is to do multi-tag radio adding Post-Rock and Cello, Violin, Piano, Trumpet, etc. It's astounding how much instrumental rock of this style is out there that hardly anyone gets to listen to, even ones that are into this style. Lots of hidden pearls...

Excellent show in Leeds last night, thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a shame that the original venue got double booked as it would have served you alot better. Maybe next time you pop back to our island you can play a more deserving venue. As I said the show was great, the set list was spot on, as always, would have loved to hear more. I bought a copy of Tertia on vinyl and it's incredible. You can really hear the amount of work that's gone into the record and hold the amount of love that's gone into the artwork. It's really great. Hope we get to see you again and remember 'Leeds loved you first', so make sure you come back to us : )
