My baking is always better in my head than the reality, but still, always good fun to try. Oh Marianne Faithful is wonderful. Indeed, what a voice.

You're way ahead of me. Thanks! I'll look them up. Seems it's still windy - remains of another hurricane, apparently.

hehe oh dear! Good thing you recovered all your music though, really good indeed. I lost tons of mine when my old computer died. Never did replace all of it. What Portishead thing? Sounds pretty amazing. That Rebekah Brooks thing is long overdue, shame it was those at the coalface who got axed, not the higher-ups. I more enjoyed Murdoch publicly apologising. He's been powerful for decades, looks like his star might be waning at last.

Hey! :) How do? Good to see you. Didn't realise you were without a computer, wondered where you'd got to. Yeah, all is well, as per. You?

Did you go to the march? I can't do crowds but I followed proceedings online on Twitter.

It is indeed a lovely thing. :) Yeah alright, ticking along, counting off the days to warmer weather. What a long winter that was. How about you? Oh I love Rod Stewart! How superb to have him as your top artist. :)

Heh, just cos they're there doesn't mean I've heard them all - I've done a fair bit of tagging for groups and radios, so that bumped it up. :) So glad you and Finn finally met up. Brilliant news.

    - yes, the Guardian picked up on it last week http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/musicblog/2010/aug/11/bands-names-symbols It's why I put a bunch of symbols in the space under my username. hehe The tag radio here is pretty good. I'd have reco'd from it this week if it wasn't for the 800% slower Bieber track. :)

Pretty sure I could figure it out :) Send it my way, please! War on Drugs is very early '70s (which for better or worse, has my heart right now). Fucks me up though 'cause I could totally follow that band around the country haha but, they seem to only play on the East Coast. Boo!

OHHH! I'm sure you had a blast at that show! I saw Scout a few months back, she played at one of my favorite places, Tractor Tavern in Ballard with Triumph of Lethargy (!!!) She was... stunning, but so subdued and mellow; I half expected a crazy drummer noise girl. :P She bums around the northwest a lot. :) I don't have itunes on this very old laptop so any music I have in my charts was from a year ago or what I've played through last. To be honest, haven't been searching for a ton of new music lately, been resorting back to classic rock. Ewww, right? Lots of Doors, Cream, Dire Straits and Tom Petty. A new(ish) band that I'm in love with though, is called The War on Drugs.
