Oh, yes, an introduction might be of some assistance! I do believe I left a comment on your PC profile announcing my intent to add you, but perhaps it was rude of me to presume you'd link the seemingly-random add here with the comment on PC. XD;; I'm Kobato.

If you've played Chrono Trigger, I'll gladly supply you with the soundtrack, but if you haven't, I urge you to get an emulator and play through the game first, because emotional attachment is half the appeal of the songs.

Oooh.. and you listen to video game music? Do you listen to any 光田康典 (Yasunori Mitsuda, Chrono Trigger/Cross music)? That and Zelda music, I can listen to any day of the week.

Hmmm... good single songs from Lodger? That's a tough one... Most of the songs kind of fit into the larger 'Lodger' puzzle, and even the best songs are hard to recommend on their own. I'd say probably Look Back in Anger and Fantastic Voyage are the best standalone tracks, otherwise I just listen to the whole thing in one go.

Oh the lyrics are about a relationship between the singer and a really depressed girl, as many songs by Bowie...

I like very much "Dead Against It": the text describes a situation I have really lived, unfortunately...

Yeah... it doesn't seem like that great of an idea. I should compile a list of albums with bad song titles and submit it to last.fm. And thumbs up to Teenage Wildlife.

Well... in theory I'm doing a great job, but the tags on the Lodger page all have (1999 Digital Remaster), which I'm obviously not going to put on my songs, haha. And how long ago did I write that?

Yes... He's quite popular. Maybe he's not as popular as in England, France or Germany, but his concerts in Italy were always SOLD OUT :P...

Ha yeah, I listened to Low in full a couple days ago, and some of the full tracks they have at last.fm. Good stuff!

I actually checked what people listen to, and if I found some artists that has some kind of similarity in mood (like mika or queen in your case) and artists that is in the same range like slagsmålsklubben for instance. So it's not random that would just result in angry people =)

I don't have very much planned, actually. As of yet I only have two camping trips planned, both of which are taking place within the next two weeks. So that leaves two months of nothingness. Hmm. Hopefully something interesting will happen. I have one more year of high school left before I go on to college or a university. That's when life will really begin.

That is so fantastic! Your dad is a true fan :). Other than World of Warcraft I enjoy playing a casual game of solitaire or hearts every now and then. Haha I was about to say that I was only kidding but I just realized that I'm not. The only thing I really play right now is WoW. It is a truly epic game, one of the best I've ever played. I never thought a game could be so addicting.

Oh not even. You're quite a prolific listener of the Bowie. Haha perhaps casual was the wrong word. Oh well I dunno. I think we could still possibly play--one of us would just be experiencing some lag since we'd be connected to a far-away server. Perhaps we should look into it?

I stole it from her when she wasn't looking ;). No I'm kidding. You're right. But if there exists a lesser-baton for casual listeners (or maybe only casual in the eyes of the other extreme listeners of Bowie) then I will surely be passing it on to you in a little while, since you've practically overcome me. And regarding WoW... my name in it is Shankly and I play on a server called Cairne. I'm a Night Elf Druid. Only level twenty-three, though, because I began playing a little while ago. What are your details? We should play together somehow!

Haha yes that does appear to be the case. I will happily pass the baton on to you because I've had it for almost five years now :P. My final day of school was last Wednesday. I managed to pull off all A's in my classes for the third consecutive year (I'm not sure how schooling works in the UK... how are students evaluated? Through grades?). I'm quite happy. Now summer is here and I have nothing to do except play World of Warcraft and listen to music ;)

Goodness, I'd need about three computers constantly playing to get 16k Bowie scrobbles in a few months. I'd be proud of getting so many plays of one artist.

No I don't! I have been trying to find it for so long but have been unable to get a copy of it anywhere. Rumor has it, David urged Morrissey to cover one of his songs because David covered one of Morrissey's on Black Tie White Noise ('I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday'). Morrissey only plays it live because he never wanted to cover anything in the first place :P
