Hi, Sorry - just picked your message up. Maybe I should come on LastFM more often because I just found a link to a 'new' Eddie Dunstedter download on iTunes. Thanks for replying. Glad you had a good Christmas and hope the New Year's Eve gig went well. I'd love to hear you. Believe it or not I'm playing a theatre organ concert on Saturday... it's been a good few years since I last did that but I'm kind of looking forward to it. Back to my roots eh? With best wishes for a really good 2012 - Glyn x

I'm a musician/writer (more writer than musician these days!). I was born in Sheffield, UK and have lived here all my life. I joined Yamaha UK as one of their artists in 1980 and stayed with the company until 2000 when a bout of ill health put a sudden stop to the constant touring. Now I publish a magazine for owners of Yamaha keyboards and Clavinovas - although my main passion is still for the traditional organ. I don't play in public too often now but still enjoy to mess around on organs and keyboards at home - and I still produce the occasional DVD for Yamaha UK which all help to pay the bills.

I enjoy organ music that might be described as 'cheezy' - but which I think places emphasis on harmony and arrangement. Away from organ music I like sounds that are slightly nostalgic for the swing/big ballad era - and favourite voices include Michael Buble, Barbra Streisand (and some of the early Andy Williams).
