Erm, I wish I was Daughn Gibson so I could sing 'Dandelions' to my balls all day. Hows that? Mostly, I think he's restored my faith in music creativity and originality whilst still offering heartfelt lyrics, a hell of a voice and perfectly crafted melodies. All that and he should definitely sit on my cock. I've done that already, without know it. I'd recommend! Whilst naked, of course. Agreed, the most original piece of music since John Maus. Oh John. Sorry, I wasn't around until today. What's this? An interweb war involving stupid people? What a surprise! XD Why can't people like more than one artist? is it really so hard to spread the love around? Urgh. People are teh stoopidz. You been abusing Biophilia then? I'm utterly in love with it. Dark Matter and Hollow grew on me very quickly after I expressed initial disappointment with them. It's one very deep album, and each time I listen to it I'm always hearing new little melodies and layers. I abused Corner earlier in the year, but I think Björk just took album of the year very easily.

Not much to shout about, old chap. Though I did get into a wee collaboration between King Creosote & Jon Hopkins. It's a right little corker of ambient/folky stuff. That subsequently led me to Jon Hopkins' solo stuff. His album 'Insides'. is pretty great. All squelchy beats and horribly dirty basslines. I'd recommend the collaboration highly, mind. Check it out if you're in a sombre mood at some point, or just wanna hear some lovely melodies. It's called 'Diamond Mine'.

I dunno what it was about Volatile Times that got me so bad. I mean, I may sound a tad emo here, but I relate a shit load to a lot of the lyrical content and, dare I say, lonely anger on there. I've felt very isolated lately, out here in Budapest, so it's just made sense to me. I know it's not usual IAMX quality, I really do, but I love the bile in it. He's angry without sounding like a twat, or some whiny teenager. Oh, and most of the Ghosts of Utopia plays are from abusing the single before the album came out XD As for Saul, I won't give up - you know me, I don't like to just write something off. But as yet, it hasn't grabbed me beyond the singles.
