1) Franz Ferdinand Both albums. Got to love the elegance of the first, and then the pop rockage of the second. So I'm cheating, but it's both: Franz Ferdinand and You Could Have It So Much Better.

I can't decide whether the new Razorlight album is:

a) a slow burner and it is actually quite good
or
b) it's a load of poo.

I'm hovering in the middle the now. It's not the classic that everyone thinks it is. It's an average album. Its not Up All Night. It's not the best album of the last 20 years. It's average. I have actually compared it to a collection of B-Sides. Althought I've head better ones at that aswell.

So yeah. Slag me off all you want.

Here is my thoughts on the bands I saw at this years T In The Park, Kinross (Scotland):

Saturday

First band of the weekend was Duels on the Main Stage. What a great way to start the weekend. I liked Duels before, but they were really good and I shall be checking out their album because there are some decent choons on it. And we got cool lanyards aswell.

Then off to the Silent Disco for a bit, before heading back to see El Presidente and their homecoming gig. A nice band for that time of day, nothing too offensive,…

Well today I got a new album: Hope Of The States's Left. What I've heard so far its rather good. I don't think it's as good as the last one, but still a decent listen.

Discovered Archie Bronson Outfit and they have decent choons and all. I'm loving Cherry Lips the now.

Razorlight's new song is a bit of a letdown… no where near as good as Golden Touch or Rip It Up or anything. But I do like the funky bit at the end.

Finally, I have pre-ordered Muse's new album. Because, it is, quite frankly,…

Got Muse's new single in the post on Saturday. Fabby. We all know that deep down that song is a corker. I loves it.

Well, it's Staurday night…. just finished work and I've had Muse choons thumping through my head all day so I feel the need to write a mini-reveiw of the new album, which, can I say, is fucking ace.

Well T On The Fringe 2006 was announced yesterday. Great line-up. Unfortunately I am on holiday for some bands, mainly Muse and Belle and Sebastian however, Muse are playing a UK tour in the winter so I'll make sure I see them then!

I am, however, seeing The Fratellis on the 17th and I know for a FACT that Editors are playing, just not confirmed, so I'll try and get tickets for that.

And theres always Radiohead but thats not T On The Fringe. Meh, still got my tickets!

I work in the Gyle (Edinburgh) branch of Marks and Spencers in the foodhall at weekends.
I was standing very bored at the Express Tills this Saturday, when a group of people started mulling around the papers. I got the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album on Monday - Stadium Arcadium. I really really like it so far! I'm loving Snow ((Hey Oh)), Charlie, Stadium Arcadium and Animal Bar so far. Theres so many tracks that it's had to listen to all the way through and get a good feel for the album. So I'll just pick away at it.

Stadium Arcadium (the track) reminds me of The Who for some reason. Strange.

Also got the new Snow Patrol album. Which is also great. Loving Open Your Eyes. Not sure if it's as good as Final Straw.…
