Hi, I need some help. I once read that although "Sigur Rós" meant "Victory Rose", the name wasn't grammatically correct in Icelandic. In other words, the *individual* words meant the other; "Sigur" means "Victory", and "Rós" means "Rose", but "Sigur Rós" doesn't mean something like "The rose of victory". That's a bit confusing, did you understand it?

Yeah man, I'm not arguing the fact that the band's name is indeed Reykjavík! I just always though that track listings were lifted from the CD instead of being downloaded. I'll experiment by placing the CD into my PC while I'm offline see what happens then. I will update my tags thought. :)

No Eythur, I have the official CD of Glacial Landscapes, Religion, Oppression & Alcohol. Although I am playing the CD in Itunes, the information it uses is from the CD and the bands name there is Reykjavik! without the accented i.
