Sometimes when I listen to certain tracks my heart starts to pound and I can't help myself from smiling. It's almost like falling in love and for that time, those minutes, it's all about me and the music. It's like it's going into my veins and fills me up with emotions. The last few weeks my musical choices have been heavily influenced by soundtracks. Like today when I watched an episode of The L Word and I just totally forgot about the show and focused on the fact that The Cures - Just Like Heaven played in the background. Since then that song has more or less been on repeat for hours. I love The Cure, always have, always will. They've helped me through some tough teenage years and inject me with just the right lyrics and sound to get me better and stronger. I got to see them live once again in the beginning of February and to my surprise the concert wasn't bad at all.
