Uhmm ok, it's 2012! Amazing, so HAPPY NEW YEAR! :D

I hope it will be an amazing year (obviously not only musically eheh).
Well, after the 2011 summer tour, one of the most anticipated albums is definitely the 'studio return' of Queens of the Stone Age.
Among the other highly anticipated album, there is also confirmation that the Portishead are working to a new album. It will be difficult to maintain the level of Third but in Portishead We Trust!
After Inni and the solo works of Jónsi, Sigur Rós are ready to work to a new album, announced by the band for the 2012, 4 years after their last studio work.
Alex James said the Blur will come together again not only for 'friendship reasons' but also for 'working reasons'. In fact it seems they will record new songs (and a new album?). We'll see..
After two (excellent) albums, we await the third album of Damien Rice which should be out this year.
After the seven songs in seven days (Living Room Songs), apparently, Ólafur Arnalds is almost certain to return this year with a studio album.
Another very welcome return would be a new studio album by múm
Mark Lanegan has confirmed his return after Bubblegum and has announced the release of Blues Funeral scheduled for February 6. You can already hear the first single, The Gravedigger's Song.
According to a interview, Danny Carrey and Justin Chancellor said that the new Tool album should be released in the second half of 2012.

Well, we just have to wait! ;)
