OK, so… After climbing the stairs and entering the room where the stage was it finally hit me. I was gonna see kill hannah live… I couldn't believe it!
But yea, anyways, when me and two of my friends entered the room The Wrecking Queens were already on the stage playing. I wasn't that excited when I heard that a Finnish all-women band was supporting Kill Hannah and My Passion but I have to admit that I was kinda surprised when I heard them play. They weren't bad at all and they actually managed to do the thing the support band is supposed to do: get the crowd ready for the actual bands.
My Passion… These fuckers teased us!! They fake-started a few times behind the curtains and made us think it's gonna start now -,- But it was all forgiven and forgotten when they finally did start. Gosh, I had heard their stage performance is energetic but when they hit the stage it was like… C R A Z Y. Last time I saw someone going even half that crazy Laurence did last night was at Ruisrock in 2008 (Anti-Flag). Laurence just lost it and it was awesome! It was so wild, so energetic, so crazy, and it totally worked! I was going straight towards losing my voice but I didn't mind, as long as I still would have enough for Kill Hannah.

And then… kill hannah. Dream coming true, seeing them live. Mat is GOD. His voice is just… way beyond. I'm kinda glad they didn't play that many songs from their newest one, considering I know only a small tiny bit of their lyrics. But I know pretty much all the lyrics for their older ones, so boys&girls, lips like morphine, black poison blood, love you to death, race the dream, crazy angel, nerve gas, kennedy, believer etc. made my voice almost die. The feeling in my throat after the gig wasn't the greatest but who cares. It was still the best thing ever, I couldn't believe I was actually there. It was so perfect that I almost started to cry during believer. ANYWAY, when Mat said that the night couldn't get any more perfect I totally knew what he was talking about. And I absolutely loved one thing Mat said. He actually stopped the music to say this:
"I want to say one thing. It's in English so I hope you understand. It's to one volcano in Iceland. I'm gonna say it really slow: FUCK. YOU. You can't stop us!"

And then, after the gig, we headed to Kamppi and the bus station. Randomly hanging around in town and stuff and then took the 3am train back to Turku. iPod on and Kill Hannah. Half asleep and half awake the whole 2hrs 50mins it took to get back here. It was so strange and felt so weird when I couldn't be sure whether I was really awake or just dreaming. I guess I was kinda both :D

The best gig ever. Totally worth it. Totally. I love Mat Devine. Yes, I know I'm not the only one but meh. I love him and I love kill hannah so screw you, other people :D
