Best albums
This time it was difficult to make a list of the best album of 2011. The top 3 was easy, but after that it was harder to make the list. There weren't as much good albums as last year.

Artist - Album - Favorite song
20) Eden's Curse - Trinity - Jerusalem Sleeps
19) Devin Townsend Project - Deconstruction - Juular
18) Arafel - For Battles Once Fought - The Last Breath of Fire
17) Amon Amarth - Surtur Rising - Destroyer of the Universe

12) Alice Cooper - Welcome 2 My Nightmare - Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever
11) Moonsorrow - Varjoina kuljemme kuolleiden maassa - Huuto

Serenity - Death & Legacy
Favorite song: Serenade of Flames

Dalriada - Ígéret
Favorite song: Hajdútánc

Rival Sons - Pressure and Time
Favorite song:All Over the Road

Nightwish - Imaginaerum
Favorite song: Scaretale
After seeing Nightwish live in march 2009 I didn't expect much of them anymore, but Imagaerum really surprised me.

Graveyard - Hisingen Blues
Favorite song: Hisingen Blues
It is that I had read that this was a new band, or else I would have thought that I had found an awsome band of the 70's.

Opeth - Heritage
Favorite song: Folklore
Opeth without death metal. I miss that parts, but without it this album still rocks.

Within Temptation - The Unforgiving
Favorite song: Stairway to the Skies
Exept for Nightwish the biggest surprise of 2011. Not as mainstream as I thought it would be. Also some elements of different genres makes it better.

Symphony X - Iconoclast
Favorite song: The End of Innocence
Paradise Lost but harder. I like it!

Joe Bonamassa - Dust Bowl
Favorite song: The Meaning Of The Blues
Joe Bonamassa, defenitly the Man of the Year. With 3 album and a DVD released this year a productive year. Dust Bowl is my favorite album of his solo career. Listen to the awsome guitarsolo's from The meaning of the blues or The Last Matador Of Bayonne.

Black Country Communion - 2
Favorite song: Save Me
Ok. This is the best hardrock album in 30 years! Glenn Hughes on bassguitar and leadvocals, Joe Bonamassa on guitar and vocals, Jason Bonham on drums and Derek Sherinian on keys. I couldn't stop listening when the first song, The Outsider, started. Glenn Hughes is still the Voice of Rock. Joe Bonamassa shows he can also be as good in a hardrock band. John Bonham can be proud of his son. The Battle For Hadrian's Wall could als have been on Dust Bowl, but it fits somewhat better with Black Country Communion. Cold is a softer song and one of the best on the album. I Can See Your Spirit show the bans's influences. A keyboardsolo that reminds you of Deep Purple and guitars that reminds of Led Zeppelin's Rock & Roll.

Best DVD
Black Country Communion Live Over Europe
Favorite song: Song Of Yesterday
I have seen only a few music DVD's, but this one really stands out. They play the best songs from Black Country and 2 and also Joe Bonamassa'sBallad Of John Henry and Deep Purple's Burn.
