You went to both Hanson gigs in Melbourne? Were they very similar? Did you enjoy both nights?

I found this cover of Eaten By The Monster of Love, by a relatively new singer called Gemma Ray. What's more, is that the music arrangement is done by Sparks themselves.... I hope you like it as much as i do. Here it is: http://thequietus.com/articles/07855-listen-gemma-ray-sparks-covers

Psst. You're absolutely right about Propaganda - arguably just as awesome, if not even more so, than Kimono. The title track is flat-out hilarious.

(No worries.) Ha, I know how that goes - but yes, you're so wrong. In The Flat Field is such a killer debut album, a bold frontier in post-punk. They're all fantastic musicians...Peter Murphy's a disciple of Bowie, and has such a phenomenal range. And Bauhaus is quite a sight on stage! Here - this double feature showcases Bauhaus in two distinct vibes, and it's really one of the best quality vids on YouTube of the band (and trust me, I've seen a ton of 'em): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gCtvas0fFs&NR=1

No problem. ; ) I enjoy thorough music criticism, and yours can be quite compelling. Did you ever get around to a Top Frontmen list, by the by? I'm extremely curious to know your top picks - watching bands on YouTube has become a new lil' hobby of mine. (Which reminds me, I need to watch Sparks now, too.) Lately, though, I've been completely mesmerized by Bauhaus...heard of 'em?

Hello again. Just heard Kimono My House, and it's flat-out brilliant. Also just read your journal on your top five vocalists. Good commentary. Consider expanding it into a top ten list.

What album is "Dick Around" from, anyway?

Thanks for the input. So glad you're such a Sparks fan - that's one of the bands that don't come up enough on my radio. "Dick Around" completely blew me away.

It was the pretty one. She was jealous because the painter wasn't attracted to her (he was sleeping with the cleaner), so she tied herself up and shot him using her feet. Also, the painter was the Sixth Doctor.

Sorry I never found you yesterday! I saw what I think was you and Scott for a minute, but then you were gone. Did you have a good night?
