    i will totally agree with you on this one. That opening riff is fantastic, and I'm a big fan of their latest album. It's great to see them trekking on without Layne and still making quality music that AIC fans are accustomed to.

    I wish there was a way to comment on specific songs on here. Not a communal comment system (with millions of users, that'd be a nightmare). No, just for individual users to write their thoughts on a song. Because I'd like to say that the opening riff to Check My Brain should be all the proof anyone needs that Alice In Chains still kicks ass, even without Layne Staley.
