Sorry didn't reply, took until now to figure out the point of your message haha. Elliott Brood was pretty wicked. Which summer festivals you going to? It's an exceptionally good crop this year in my mind.

Are you implying that I should take up the ukelele and go live in rural Canada? Because that is something I would definitely consider.

You've definitely demonstrated that there's a dearth of death country and haikus in this world.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I saw a few clips from that documentary on YouTube a while ago. Need to see the whole thing though. Still haven't got my ticket yet, pretty broke at the moment. I'm not sure if you've heard of the No Sleep Till festival, but it's coming up and gonna be damn good, I'm going to the one up here. Well speak to you soon pal, good luck with all your uni crap.

The band that Elliott Brood reminded me of a little was The Rural Alberta Advantage. They're pretty enjoyable. Also worth checking out Motel Motel if you don't know them; sort of alt-country with a garagey twist.

Hey Dave you got your Soundwave ticket? I'm probably gonna be in Adelaide for it, let me know if you're gonna go. Fucked Up are going now, should be awesome.

Yeah I know a little bit of Refused, mainly New Noise and stuff, but I'll be sure to pick up their album. I was gonna recommend The Ghost of a Thousand to you, but seems like you've already checked them out. I've been having debates with Dan Beacom about hardcore music over Facebook. He says it sucks and all sounds the same, while I'm trying to defend it. Need you by my side to help back me up here! Living here in QLD is pretty good, really enjoying it, but looking forward to coming home for three weeks on July 8th, so hopefully will see you around.
