About "Go Back To Your Roots"

I am not a huge fan of last.fm studies articles submitted by some users recently, in order to bring some philosophical
or rational view of the person to some problem.. Still recently I´ve encountered so many whiny comments, that I have actually to
write this, sorry in advance to those i might offend (because they do that)..

Actually the main thing that brought me to this pamflet is whining about two once great atmospheric/melodic black (gothic)
metal formations: specifically Cradle of Filth and Graveworm.. Comments like "Those two bands sold out" or "It is Shit
because others says it sucks" - childish and lamb-like.. We will all come to the one big herd, and spam those comments on
bands´ shoutbox. Now I´ll tell you something shocking : In Fact, bands don´t care. They made their musical evolution (either for
new musical way they want to move towards, or they grew older(in some cases, like Metallica, simply old, or they
just want to make some money through their music).. Since music started to be part of the business, things will always
be like that.. It´s like with football or anything else, where money are being present.

Band won´t come back to their roots, no matter how
you think you persuade them not supporting them buying their albums.. Someone else will surely buy it. Anyways, members
of the bands usually do have side jobs, or more often music as a part-time activity, so they are not depending on your purchase as much as you might think they do.
Music just helps them getting better and more luxurious things, while they could feed themselves no matter what will
happen with their career as a musicians. Now let´s see into Graveworms´problem. The problem is, they have signed with Nuclear Blast.
Just that fact should have warned their fans, that the biggest style change is going to happen. All bands in the history, once
they have signed with Nuclear Blast started to earn money, become famous, and rapidly changed their musical style
to suit the masses
. What for? Because Nuclear Blast is factory for masses.. They could release tons of Amon Amarth,
Arch Enemy, Graveworm and those names will bring money no matter what music they produce.. See, Cradle of Filth
are still making tons of money, they´ve just changed the audience they play for. Metalheads for metalkids.
That´s not bad. You have to admit, there are so many bands now, metal became overcrowded as hell. You can always
find lots of interesting bands, if you are really searching for them. There´s no point stand by band that changed
into something you don´t like. Just, for christ sake, switch to another one! Leaving pointless comments will not
help with anything in any way, just pisses off the ones, who still like the band (or they don´t know better). In my opinion,
Graveworm maybe turned worse, but it´s still bearable, not alike In Flames and Soilwork. They just staying extreme in
some way, not completely turned into pop metal (like Soilwork or In Flames really did).

How to solve this problem? Hm eradicate money from the music. Let´s just pay for concerts, and probably get cd´s for only
a small price, paying straight to the bands, but that won´t happen. The whole thing gone too far. Some next time, you will
be bitching in some bands´shoutbox, proving this rule, you will probably know, it has no use. They will not play
like you want to, because it´s not you, who creates the music. If they mean it open-hearted, they just feel the music
the way they play. If not, they just want to make some money. It´s sad, but way it is.

Graveworm
Cradle of Filth
Amon Amarth
Arch Enemy
Soilwork
In Flames
