As of 19th January 2007, I am in possession of exactly 100 artist albums! Now, you lucky lot, I'm going to list my collection so far! But first, a word about the sorts of albums I don't include in this list:

-Compilations (rules out about 20 CDs in my collection)
-Singles (rules out about 25 CDs in my collection)
-Soundtracks (rules out 3 CDs)
-Classical CDs (rules out 4)
-Dodgy foreign artist-compilations (rules out one such Roy Orbison collection)
-Unsigned bands (rules out 3 acts from my home town)

So as you can see, my entire compact disc collection is much more than 100, but my main concentration is on artist albums. And so here it is, in chronological order by original release date:

For those of you who actually counted and are confused, Speakerboxxx and The Love Below are counted as separate albums in my book! As you can see, my purchasing of recent albums has tailed off in favour of older gems. Nothing here I'm ashamed off (OK, maybe Melanie C a little bit) and here's to the next 100 and beyond!
